My friend and sister Iya Denise is from Lucumi tradition and a very interesting character to say the least...
I think that most of you have seen her pictures of her trip to Brazil and a very respected terreiro of a Great Babalosain but I though interesting to post the lonk here for those who have nt seen it or who will come to this tribe in the future.

Iya Denise was the first Lucumi to be present at the initiation of an olorixa, and it is a very step stone in the history of the cultural exchange of afrotraditions in the Americas.

Not only Iya was the representative of teh lucumi tradition at itis best, but she brought her lively fresh spirited nature to our peo0ple in Brasil.

I am very lucky to be part of her spiritual circle and wanted to share this with you and for those who dont know Nadhir, well this is the oportunity to get to know a great musician with a big big heart and much talent!!!
