Hi!
I will be in Wilmington the weekend of September 12 at the downtown art walk displaying my work during the day. Is there anything going on that weekend during the evening time? I've never been to Wilmington, and would love advice on where to go and what to see (also, anyone know of any cheap places to stay or camp?)

Decemberween is Richmond's favorite Halloween themed Christmas party, and this one is the second year anniversary of the Party Liberation Front. This is a big burner house party, complete with large outside space for fire spinning, much chillspace inside, and a large dancefloor with your favorite PLF dj's. That bar was sooo much fun. I kept running into these drunk people all day long. They all asked the same question "have you been out to the floating pirate bar yet?" Really, seriously, you all need to come with a warning label... a really big warning label.

Thanks for making that happen, it completely changed the whole lake experience. Hope to see you all again before the next Tfus.

Hi Cape Spherians!
This message contains some information regarding preparation for Transformus this weekend. I hope you all are as excited as we are here at the Gypsy. So first off, here is a list of people who will be camping with us this year, and if you or anwyone you know is planning on it, but are not listed, please hit me with a name and contact info:

Bash, Marcy, Vespa, Mr. Serious, Sweet Marie, Jasper James, Emmalee, Dawn, Vic, Dick, Justin Sizemore, Lady Luck, M-it, Lenny, Chip, Stone, Vic, Frederick, Amy, Murda, Other Justin, Sara, Ben, Jo, Combat Bahb, possibly Buddha and Rocky, and me (Witch Baby).

Here is a break down of what we would like to see people contribute if possible....

~Kitchen~
Anyone with personal grills, please bring them. There are a lot of people at our camp this year and everyone needs to eat. If anyone has a larger grill and can fit it in, we encourage you to bring that as well. Also coolers, kitchen supplies, coffeemakers and some extra alcohol and water for your personal stash. We we be bringing water, coffee, and alcohol for the bar and camp in general, but obviously we want people to be as self sufficient as possible so come prepared.

We have devised a plan to have a group of people responsible for at least one meal and have broken down people into groups and assigned times. What we would like to see is that group have some extra food with them and work together to provide a meal to the whole camp. This can be anything from mashed taters to soup to pasta to grilled cheese. Keep in mind there are 28 people going so far, possibly more. Also, there are multiple vegetarians and vegans among our group so please accommodate as best you can. There will be two meals a day. Here is the schedule:

Thursday PM--- Jo, Emmalee, Witch Baby
Friday AM--- Bash, Jasper James, Mr. Serious
Friday PM--- Sweet Marie, Marcy, Lauren, Combat Bahb
Saturday AM--- Dawn, Vic, Dick
Saturday PM--- M-It, Justin Sizemore, Ben
Sunday AM--- Murda, Other Justin, Sara
Sunday PM--- Frederick, Chip, Stone
Monday AM--- Mimi, Lenny, whoever else is there

If you need to switch times, its no problem, just let me know. Also, I wasn't sure about Vespa, Buddha and Rocky, so we can work them in if they want to join in.

~Infrastructure and Personal Items~

Please bring gas tanks to fuel the generator. If they actually have gas in them, bring receipts so we can reimburse you.
Since we are running a floating bar, we suggest you bring items such as floaties, flippers, masks and other waterproof and rainproof gear.
We want to make the bar look awesome, so whatever you feel will add to the pimpness, bring it on. For example xmas lights are a plus.
I am assuming you all are aware of what general stuff you need personally (tent, sleeping bag, clothes, personal snacks, etc...)
Don't forget costumes!!

GETREADY: Important Meeting Info for all WIlmington Spherians

2 weeks away from TF. even less if youre part of the crew headed up early.
So 1) we have to test the floating bar in some real water.
SATURDAY, serious DIck and I are headed to Vespa's to get the foam, and cut to form
SUNDAY is a roadtrip to lake Waccamaw to test this stuff in the water.
So if anyone wants to come out on the lake to see the maiden voyage,

We will need a logistics meeting for transportation costs, supply purchases, and how we're gonna lay out the camp
ie: Flags, decor, ALCOHOL, gasoline, wood, etc.
Lets pick a day! but im thinking Sunday would be a great time!
Exp if you cant make it outto the lake, we can meet at the Gypsy inthe evening.

Transformus Chill Spin Zone and Skillz Exchange

I am happy to announce that the Chill Spin Skillz Exchange will be returning to Transformus 08!

The Chill Spin Zone is a low-key, safe place for spinners and dancers of any skill level. It is both a learning and a teaching environment as well as a non-competitive play space. There will be music, workshops, classes and freeform fun throughout the weekend. Look for us in the Elyssium Fields.

The Chill Spin Zone and Skillz Exchange is brought to you by Philosopher's Stone, Bubble Camp, Ripe and Juicy and many wonderful and giving teachers from all over Mysteria. It is a unique opportunity to teach, learn, connect and share in a cooperative and safe space from a variety of amazing teachers and performers. It is also a great opportunity to make friends and build community. And the first step to organizing it is a Call For Teachers!!!

Everyone has something to teach. Everyone has something to learn.

What do you have to share? Mysteria needs you!

Please let us know what you'd be interested in sharing. If there is a time or day that's better for you, let us know that too. Once we get everyone's feedback, we will make a schedule of workshops that will be posted online as well as in the Chill Spin Zone. TITS will also be announcing upcoming workshops throughout Mysteria.

Here is a list of the workshops that were offered last year. Let's use this as a framework to build upon. Feel free to share something new and different or sign on to teach one of these amazing skills:

Transformus: the planning continues: updates

FLOATING BAR

Floating bar under construction,
and we hear tell some other project is attempting a floating bar.
But you know, thats part reason WHY we're doing this too... its been a perpetual myth for years.
And ours is going to be the shiz, anyway.
Current prototypes are being built by Dick, and all we have to do is go over to the pool and jump on it a lot.
Once the fram is made, the external structure made by the construction team,
then the art chicas kick in, and make her sparkle.

Blitz – the benefit party weekend for Kamp Krieg

Blitz is a camping holiday weekend celebration being held on 10 acres of woodlands near Siler City, NC July 3-6. We're bringing the bonfire, debauchery, food, thumpa-thumpa, trampolines, boffer swords, and more. It's all burner tested, burner approved. Our Grill Master will be preparing tasty foods for your enjoyment, in both carnivorous and hippie varieties. Our party veterans will ensure you remain properly "hydrated" at all times. All proceeds contribute directly to your enjoyment of Kamp Krieg at numerous regional burns.

We know you're gonna have as much fun coming as we will putting it on, but don't forget the important things: Costumes, Art, Blinkies, Musical Instruments, Fire Toys, and anything else you need to get your creative spirit fired up.

This is a primitive camping LNT event . Unless you bring your mama, YOU are responsible for cleaning up after yourself, including removing your trash from the site. There is no car camping, but vehicles will be parked inside Gate.

All attendees must be 18+: a valid photo ID must be presented at Gate. NO EXCEPTIONS. Only ticket holders with a valid photo ID will be granted entrance to Blitz. You will receive directions to the site and specific details about this unforgettable event. Due to space limitations, Blitz is capped at 200 people, so tickets are very likely to sell out. Best Fundraiser Ever!

Thanks to Vespa for letting us use his land. (We'll figure out LNT for real next year!) Thanks to the Gypsys and the rest of the Cape Sphere crew who set the party up for us to burn it down. Thanks for having us down there. I really enjoyed it and I know others did too.

There was a great group of people, and we showed several people how to party like it's Burn o'clock. Some really good local fire spinners came out of the woodwork, and I was _very_ impressed.

Hopefully, ya'll raised enough to build the floaty bar of DOOOOMMM! I'll see you on the Mountain.

That sucks. But we have several lines on various ticket opportunities,
so speak up if you're looking. We've already secured 4 since the closing of sales, and
more to come. BUT.. you gotta help the sphere, since core crew and immediate vital hands need the tickets first.
So speak up and we'll get you to work.

IMPORTANT: PLAN ON GOING TO ASHEVILLE EVEN IF YOU DONT HAVE A TICKET.
why?
We have a contingency plan. If you want in on building this floating bar,
Cape Sphere is getting to the event site several days early. So even if you dont have a ticket,
you can still help us build and play with your fellow spherians.

We have a local Asheville HQ purgatory outpost lined up, for ticketless Spherians to hang, party, and be our landlifeline for CS festival crew.

There is a lot of fun to be had in Asheville, so make the plan to go, TICKET OR NOT.

I am sad to find that Transformus is the same weekend at Camp Bisco this year, which is a festival up north with all my favorite musicians, and possibly Sci Fi (from Wilmington) this year. That is majorly sheisty.

Themes and activities discussed:

Floating Bar - Bash and Vespa to look into a possible camping spot on the Lake this year,
which would be ideal for building and launching the Bar.
Resources for floatation devices and construction are needed. Vespa said
his neighbor has some floatation devices that may be used.

Bellydance Parade - Marcy, Marie and Laura are in charge of this. Maybe some drummers
could participate, or some lucky guy could carry a boom box ? :-)

DJ Space / Silicone Lifeform - Jason and Emmitt are the contacts for this.

FLOATING CAPE SPHERE moves forward

SUMMARY: spoke to city planning. they are into the idea.
here's what we need to submit in a plan:
A) How the object will be anchored
B) How, if powered, will we ensure the pristine quality ofthe lake ie: fuel,debris)
C) something else. I plum forgot.

BACKSTORY ON THE FLOATING CONCEPT

1) In the last meeting, held at the Gypsy, people wanted to be in a popular spot, but not necc on the main drag,
and also out of the way.
The only place that satisifes all these Criteria is: THE LAKE.

2) People wanted to do floating art, a bar, and some wanted a camp on land.
SO. the only way that satisfied each of these criteria was: BOTH.
One on sea, with a central HQ on shore.
(tying them in together with some thing would be really cool..
Someone mentioned a private CS zipline out to our floating bar.

and VA/FL will be getting their gangs together.
But thats why the web is goodfor this stuff.

Some people dont want to work so hard, and have a retirement home.
some people want to go bigger in the same place
Some people want a floating bar
and some want to go big in the woods...

Who knows? But I would have to say i love camping with all you guys, and it wouldnt be the same if we didnt!
so...the question is: how do we combine all that into one deal? and where?

Hey there every one well I'm sure the title got your attention. So I work at a toy store of the adult persuasion and I figured you know what would be cool? A huge sex toy show at Transformus. Now I, being a knowledgeable chap in the adult toy industry, know a bit about these things and figured I'd start amassing a horde of toys and have a sex toy party (kinda like a tuperware party). Now it'll be educational as well as fun (cough, cough) of course this all depends on what kinda response I get on here because these things aren't exactly cheap, if I have a lot of people wanting to see and get items which I plan on gifting at the end of the show I just wanna get a good guess. let me know thanks

Transformus invites

If you think you are subscribed but you didn't receive the new (February) Mountain Holler, then either you aren't subscribed, or it probably went to your junk mail folder. In either case, please make sure you are receiving announcements! Official announcements are not posted here, but in the interest of making sure as many people get invite news as possible, here it is again.]

Invites!
We are using a new system for invites to address the likelihood that more people will want to attend the event than we are able to accommodate.

We are able to invite 1,500 people to the event this year. Each invite will cost $55. Children age 5 and under enter free with legal guardian.
One person may request one or two invites using a form that will be available on the web site (http://www.transformus.com) starting at 12:00 noon (Eastern time) on Friday, February 29. You will have until the end of the day on Sunday, March 9, to complete the form, so there is no need to all rush at noon on Friday. (There is no advantage in completing your form before others, as long as you meet the March 9 deadline.)
At that time, the first 1,350 invites will be determined from all the requests that have been submitted.
We will inform you as soon as we have completed that process, no later than March 16, and if we were able to invite you, you will have until noon on April 9 to pay via PayPal.
We are going to repeat the process to distribute the remaining invites.
Just like the first two years, we are going to issue electronic instead of paper tickets. You will receive a souvenir paper ticket when you arrive, but in order to gain entry each person must present his or her own personal secret code that we will issue.
On or before February 28, more detailed instructions will be sent via e-mail to the announcements list and posted on the web site at http://www.transformus.com.
What you should do now:

Please go to http://www.transformus.com, create an account (if you don't already have one) and make sure you can log in.
Contact web@transformus.com if you have any technical issues.
Stay tuned for detailed instructions via e-mail announcements and on the web site.

Spherian circus performer.

First National Hooper's Conference!!!

Hoop Convergence ~ Friday April 11 - Wednesday April 16, 2008

Please join us for the very first national (hopefully International!) Hooper’s Conference -- The Hoop Convergence.

The Hoop Convergence is the bringing together of a wide variety of hoopers from all over the world to create a synergistic learning environment where we will address all aspects of hooping. There will be panel discussions and workshops with a variety of amazing teachers and hoopers from all over the United States.

The Convergence will be held in beautiful the Hooper Haven of Carrboro, NC. Everything in this wonderful town is in walking distance and already many local hoopers are opening their homes or offering camping on their property to visiting hoopers from all over the country. Make plans to join us now.

Here are some of the amazing workshops and activities that are confirmed as of right now:

HOOP SKILLS WORKSHOPS
Currently, Spiral, Revolva, Caroleeena and Jewels are all confirmed to teach. These workshops will teach a variety of hooping techniques, including hand work, footwork, bodywork and dance, as well as hooping specialties, such as street performance and twin hooping. There will be workshops appropriate to all skill levels and other classes will be added to the curriculum as they are confirmed. Workshop details are forthcoming.

YOGA, INJURY PREVENTION & HEALING
We will host an injury prevention discussion panel made up of yogis, hoopers, massage therapists and other body/mind workers and healers. Hopefully we will be able to offer a HoopYoga workshop as well.

COSTUME DESIGN and THEATER MAKE-UP WORKSHOPS
In addition to learning costume design and theater make-up, the Convergence will also include a trade circle, a costume swap, sewing and non-sewing methods for making/decorating costumes, pattern shares, and a discussion where we will share ideas about themes, hoopable clothing and info for creating fire safe costumes . If you stay for the entire week, there will be excursions to some kick ass thrift stores too! (Then, after the Convergence, you can try out your new threads at Shakori Hills the following weekend!)

COMMUNITY, SERVICE PROJECTS and WORLD HOOP DAY
There will also be a discussion panel on community building, event planning, service projects and World Hoop Day. Hoopin' Annie O, creator of World Hoop Day, Jewels, who created Hoops for Haiti, and Caroleeena, who started the Henrietta Jensen Outreach and Education Project in Jamaica are all confirmed and will all be available to help you envision and manifest your world hoop day events or community outreach projects. (Hopefully Xta will be able to make it also!)

FIRE
On Saturday night, we will have a drum circle and fire ceremony with fire dancing. If you haven't fire hooped before, this could be your moment! There will also be discussions on Fire Philosophy & Ritual, Safety, Tool Repair, Craft and Professionalism. (There may also be a workshop highlighting a variety of different fire hoops and build techniques. We may not have time amidst everything else to build our own fire hoops, but maybe. If not, I'm sure you can order one from a local crafter to be customized for you and ready for your arrival to NC or to be shipped to you when you return home.)

JAM ~ DANCE PARTY
Sunday night, we will have a funky, dressy, jamming hoop hop set. There will also be a pre-party, house-party for dressing and making up!

OTHER THINGS we hope to include are:
Performances by and for each other
Publicity and Marketing
Business Management and Taxes for Professionals
Teaching Techniques
Hooping with kids
Sharing Poetry and Stories
Hoop Philosophy and Spirituality

Finally, if we can manage it, and if we have enough people at Shakori Hills, I think it would be fun to try to choreograph and premier the world’s largest choreographed hoop dance! I know they would let us do it there. We just have to see if we can make it happen!

We have lots of other ideas too – Circus hooping, Native American Hoop Dance, Rhythmic Gymanastics, Hoop Yoga, integrating specific types of dance into hooping, and more – but those things may have to wait until next year … unless you know someone willing and/or able to teach! If you have an idea for a workshop, please join the Hoop Convergence Tribe and share it with us! http://tribes.tribe.net/hoopconvergence

If you would like to teach or lead a discussion panel, please post that on the Hoop Convergence tribe too or feel free to PM a description to Jewels at hoopflow@gmail.com. We will accommodate what we can given space availability and group sizes. Teaching or leading a panel will enable you to attend other workshops for free. Depending on our turnout, you will hopefully also receive compensation for your efforts. (We are still working out the estimated costs for this event but we are working to keep them reasonable. Several teachers are volunteering altogether.)

Prices and other details will follow soon. New items are being added everyday!

If you can stay through the week, festivities, workshops, discussion panels and field trips will be offered Friday through Wednesday. Then, on Thursday, we'll head over to Silk Hope for a great, family-friendly, hooper-rich, inexpensive local music festival with incredibly sweet vibes through the following Sunday!

If you can't stay through the week and for the music festival, there will be plenty of hoopy goodness happening during the weekend from Fri - Sun/Mon. Do try to stay Sunday night for a big jam and costuming pre-party though!

Now maybe you have an idea and need a village to put it together.
Theres a lot of momentum from last year's project still floating around, so lets see.
Just got this from transformus.

Transformus' third annual granting session is about to commence.

We will begin accepting Creativity Grant proposals for the 2008 event this weekend. All forms of creativity are invited to apply. Complete criteria, application instructions and the granting timeline will be posted to the Transformus Web site by the end of this week. All proposals will be blinded by the oversight committee and juried by a volunteer group of your peers.

Our Art Team members will inform the community when the granting session opens and post reminders on this and other lists throughout the open proposal period.

Please note that proposals are due by early December; the 2008 event grants will be fully distributed before this calendar year ends.

The time is now so act fast. Start getting your ideas together today. Gather your creative-minded friends, form a team, start pricing materials, and turn your vision into words. We will provide criteria and the information your application must contain. The rest is up to you.

The Carnival of 5 Fires 2007

Due to overwhelming interest, the Carnival of 5 Fires 2007 has expanded to 3 full nights of exciting entertainment. Our First Friday opening reception will include art, music, and performances on both the first and second floors. A full visual art show containing paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture, and video installations will be on display in the upstairs gallery throughout the entire month of October. Live freak show performances brought to you by makeup and FX specialist Beth Gorley, as well as puppet shows by Rose Csorba and All the Saints Theatre Company will be among the many unique live performances held in our upstairs space. Our outdoor balcony will showcase theatric performances by local troupe PunkSinatra and special street performances will be given by G5 Fire: Fire Performance Group, To The Earth: Belly Dance troupe, and various jugglers, unicyclists, stilt walkers, accordion players and more interactive crowd-pleasers. On the main stage, such acts as No BS Brass Band, Sugar Shack Burlesque, The Ok Bird, and regionally acclaimed band American Dumpster will perform.

Saturday and Sunday’s events will start with circus art classes from 3pm-6pm. These workshops will include puppet making, hula hooping, beginner poi spinning, stilt walking and more. These workshops will be geared toward older children and adults.
From 6pm-7pm, a community spaghetti dinner will be served with light entertainment. At 7pm, audience members will be ushered downstairs to enjoy a full roster of entertainment ranging from cabaret, theater, puppet show, musical acts and standup comedy.

All three nights, chocked-full of entertainment, can guarantee a packed house that will no doubt have people talking for months.

MYTHOS rehearse/work schedule

okay folks The MYTHOS rehearsal and work schedule is up come over to our house this Sunday June 3rd for rehearsal/work on the show. I also need an assistant director very badly, someone to become my right arm basically. We're gonna have a full house, and people need to eat.
Fjord and Kim cant do it all, but damn their gril is nice!

You can contribute food/supplies/assistance to whomever is cooking, wherever...
and you can keep your social cooler in the general picnic area. It worked well last year where we had a shade structure/kitchen area
and everyone's cooelrs were labeled. there was no problem with pilfering, and the resources were mighty close to each other, when someone didnt have sugar for their coffee, it was already on the table!

Out there, we;ll need some form of effective dishwashing & dry good storage & trash separation to keep things off the ground and
easy to find when you want something. More ideas in relation to food....

Anyone leaving tuesday, please have your basic food shopping done before leaving.
We will make a stop over for water and last minute supplies, but we want to arrive in Ashevile while

there is stil daylight... We intend on leaving Noon at the latest.
All vehicles transporting camp materials can either come pick up stuff before then, OR
be here by 10 Am to load up. Packing all this shit will be a lot easier if everyone is here early, so we

can do any necessary rearrangements. this is gonna be a lot of fun guys!

Yes, we have an in-camp bar. The Pokey Bar.
the stage will be flanked by the Fjord Hookah Dome on one side, and the other side's Pokey Bar.

If you drink, you'll naturally be bringing alcohol.
If you are bringing alcohol, bring extra donation for our lovely bar.
Mixers, ice, cups, fruit, cheap booze, all is good.
How about a blender for those daiquiries?

FIREWOOD & BURN BARRELS @ CS

EVERYONE should bring some wood for the home fires.
Lumber, bundles of sticks, whatnot. have a pile ready and cram that shit in every open spot in your vehicle.
We'll certainly burn it. ITs our nature.

Do consider if you are traveling from afar, and arrive to asheville sometime during the day,
then you can scout woods, trashpiles, Lowes dumpsters, etc for wood so you dont have to carry it the whole way.

Its going to be tight, no doubt about it. but we're lookign at a footbridge over the creek for some ofthe open spotsin the woods, and some people last year had a sleep tent in the quiet zone. Itsgoing to be loud, no doubt about it.

I'm just interested in figuring out the music thing cause I'm bringing my turntables and cd players to spin at the Pokey Bar. There's another main DJ stand at the camp, right? MAYHEM : Post Burn Stories, anyone?

Hot damn, people! Thats how Cape Sphere throws down apparently. Wow.
finally got everything put away until transformus...

And though Not "technically" an official burn event, (as we didnt have a big ass fire...)
it REALLY felt like one, and a damn good one!

Thanks to everyone who made it, and if you didnt, we missed you.
Crazy costumes, three separate DJ environments, wide open bar that never went dry,
Black mail photo booth, body casting, the gropadome, Chill Dome, fool school & the sunday special
ass cracker show. ( soon to be posted i hope...)
Mayhem was a first for our spherian crew.
everyone put a hell of a lot of work into this, and
we're absolutely going to have to do more stuff like this again...hope fully soon.

A prominent Theme camp at this Year's Transformus festival.
(July 20-22, 2007 @ deerfields < Asheville, NC www.transformus.com)

Cape Sphere is hosting a fundraising shebang on the NC Coast, May 12, 2007.
THIS IS A CAMPING EVENT. One night of raucous fun for all you burners out there!

If you know us, you know what kind of parties we have, so I wont get into the FULL details...wow!

But here are some of the details, in case you are interested:

LOCATION: Just a touch outside of Wilmington, NC in a secluded outdoors location on the cape fear river. Lots of grassy camping land, and neighbors who are just far enough away to not mind a bunch of burners setting a fire and whooping it up for an evening. And if You've been to Transformus before, it WILL remind you of Deerfields...Specific details and directions only given to those with invites.

EVENT: we call it MAYHEM. A (soon to be) annual fundraiser party to assist the Cape Sphere camp in attaining all its logistical, decorative and transportation goals for a truly AMAZING camp at this year's Transformus festival.

DATE: Saturday, MAY 12, 2007. Noon until SUnday am.

WHATS HAPPENING? The usual fare, and then some...DJs, geodome environments, a big fire, fire performers, circus artists, chill spaces, overnight camping, OPEN BAR,
Yummy food, burlesque acts, hookah service, greek god/goddess treatments,feats of strength and daring, blinking lights, trampoline, swingsets, fire art, and a 25' inflatable "invisibility dome" where no one can see you, by attaining invisibility, and you are whisked away into a different dimension until you decide its time to crawl out the other side...and much more to come, brought by YOU, the guests and co-conspirators of this sexy soiree.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SEX PARTY...by any means...it is a SEXY party...so bring your costumes & leave your hangups at home.

Cape Sphere is having our fundraiser (MAYHEM!) for the transformus festival to cover costuming, transport, wood, materials, and overall fun for the whole camp. (thats not to say you dont bring your own funky wear...costuming is for the Show we're putting on, called mythos!)

the location is a fantastic (thanks vespa) area right on the river, with plenty of wooded areas, grass, spaces for parking, cmping ,and lots of outdoor Mayhem (pun intended).

We're doing a bar, offering services, like the greek god treeatment, assassinations, massages, food, silly dances. kissing booth, feats of skill and strength, DJs, sound system, lights, and way more. In addition to the entrance fee, Every service will accept tips, which will then be added to the fundraiser pot. There will be a clear line of accounting, and we all have a say where the $ gets spent, and everyone will knwo where it went. EVERYTHING is going into Cape Sphere Camp at Transformus, with a small stipend to contrubute to the Fire Rescue team at Transformus, for Vespa letting us use the land.

the cost is $15, and it's INVITE ONLY. so you must have an invite, or be on the list to get in. So we need to start collecting names that are going on that list.

Now get this...Every one will have to pay the $15, no exceptions. You have to consider that this is a fundraiser, and an investment in YOUR GOOD TIME... so instead of every man for themself out there, lots of community accoutraments will be offered by the $ we generate in this fundraiser. So lets get the people invited! Its time to get some MAYHEM GOING ON!

This thread is about HOW to creative ly find your tickets, through other channels besides straight purchase.
So if you WANT to go, you can get in to transformus.

Ive been through this the past 2 years, and always found a ticket.
People get hoardy, and buy up more than they need, then something comes up, and they or theri friends cant go ,back out, die, change their minds, et al....
SO>... You need to be on the right channels to find out when they come up.
Start here:
transformus YAHOOGROUP: ~ join it if you dare...lots of chatter, but tickets will come up on it.
Transformus myspace ( if there is one)
transformus.com MESSAGE BOARD~ post that youre LOOKING for a ticket, and people will find YOU.

And the best sleuthy way:
Check TRIBE!
transformus has a tribe, and also, check out the regional tribes , like Charlotte, Asheville, Raleigh burner tribes, and youll see they come up.
EVEN if you dont need a ticket, if you find one offered, Post the contact info on Cape Sphere tribe so soem one of us can pick it up.

ASHEVILLE spherian needed to secure pallets for stage

Last meeting, we determined the size of the stage, and figured out the most cost effective way to get the thing built
(16deep x 24 long) is to use pallets.

That takes 24 pallets exactly, to make that stage.
Now, we want it 2 pallets tall, so that makes 48 pallets required to get the height.

ANY ONE OVER THERE in asheville got the space to colect these things in the next few months?
We can transport from Asheville, with one of the transport vehicles, we jsut need the materials.
The plywood tops, and raised platforms wil be pre-built and transported. The pallets are the main skeleton.

Pallets are generally all over the place, jsut hoping this can be a local person's side pet project, so we dont have to use 2 trailers jsut to bring pallets.

Please forward this out to other Ashevilian people in the sphere realm, or who are interested in volunteering for such and endeavor.

Imagine the burn we're gonna have Monday Morning over coffee and wine, with the sun coming up and the stge going up in flames!

Get extras and we'll find enough people in our own sub culture here and beyond to ensure we have our entire community going!

Someone else's words, copied and pasted.....
At midnight, April 15th, there will be a link on the Transformus page to buy
tickets. The link is not there right now because the first tier tickets
sold out in about 10 hours. The link will only be there as long as there
are tickets available for tier 2. The link will be back up on the website
on May 15th, at midnight, for tier 3. Hope that helps!
