Caribbean Pirates Convention, or ‘AhrrrCon’ as it is commonly known, is an ecotek gathering. People collaborate together to build networks and relationships that will help them end their reliance on impersonal centralized structures. As we engineer a peaceful society without borders, we can exchange resources and communicate anywhere in the world through the proper use of technology. We reso-magnetize with people who are learning and have active knowledge of technologies and skills that are necessary to live a ‘localized’ lifestyle.

We would like to attract groups to independently organize seminars on green technologies, energy sources, bio-renewable hardware, permaculture, resource purification systems, and GPS mapping systems for experimental phyto-fungal remediation projects. With a more fluid and mobile society we are lowering the limits of geographical boundaries and the polarizing effect they have had on humanity.

This unique gathering will take place from June 24 thru 28th in San Juan Area of Puerto Rico.

Previous discoordinated gatherings where located at the elusive ‘Area52 HQ’, a small island with 5,000 inhabitants off the East coast of Puerto Rico known as Culebra ( Snake Island ), where according to local lore, alien-crafts have been spotted. This bio-region, which also includes Vieques, is a former Experimental Military Installation Contaminated by 30 years plus of Bombing Practice, it offers a plethora of activities in a beautiful seamless virtual reality of possibility. This region was host to some of the earliest Caribbean settlers from the Orinoco River Valley in the Amazon and is located at Caribbean edge of the ‘Bermuda Triangle.’

Charge yourself with necessary paranormal energy as we enter the next technological age.

Merge with the Biobay, and live its stories, join our ecotek teams as we explore and commune with the pyrodiniums which produce the bio-luminescent effect at the world’s brightest ‘bioluminescent bay.’ Will you find the secret path to ‘Purple Beach’ just in time to para-glide out of there and reach the underground kayak depot? Snorkel through the coral reefs of ‘Blue Beach’ before you get eaten by Giant Sharks or strangled by Octopi. Search for hidden treasure at the base of ‘Monte Pirata’, and then have a friendly game of ‘Island Surf Puerto Rico’ paintball at ‘Green Beach.’ Launch a ‘Half Moon Bay’ expedition to frolic on the sands of ‘Ninja Beach.’ Learn how to protect endangered sea turtles by not having fires on the beach : - )

Stay at the renegade time share as we watch mirrored star lit meteoritic projections travel through space . . . Will we ever see the real phantom pirate ship everyone seems to be talking about? Will we learn the truth about algae fuel cell technology at ‘Silver Beach’? Or maybe we should choose our own Adventure. . .

We are reminded of Area52’s history, how its people, water, air, land and sea animals have been deeply challenged by US military experimentation, by what was the largest off shore U.S. military base. This gathering also serves to celebrate a recent victory, where in 2003, an overwhelming groundswell of globalized resistance was successful in evicting the US military from Vieques, the HQ of this elusive military installation and training ground for pre Iraq invasion scenarios. At ‘Playa Blanca’, a restricted area, there is rumored to be radioactive remains of unexploded depleted uranium ordinance & subatomic particle residue from experimental underwater weaponry. The air and water are in questionable states and are under constant monitoring by secret organizations, more research is being done.

Tickets to San Juan, Puerto Rico can be attained either by:

Let’s say you arrive at San Juan, Puerto Rico International Airport.
You can take a bus from San Juan to Rio Piedras, ask for the ‘Publicos’ (small public buses) terminal take one to the ‘Lancha’ (Ferry) in Fajardo.

You can also opt for the Hi-Speed Ferry from Old San Juan most of the time not available (being repaired) www.islandhispeedferry.com/puertorico ). You may explore and contribute to Old San Juan with its Historic Fort of El Morro & ( pricey ) restaurants in the Old City.

Choose to fly [ Culebra Air Link or M & N ] from Isla Grande Airport just outside of
Old San Juan approx. $10 by taxi.

The plane should be about approx. $60 - $80 one way from that destination, otherwise approx. $22 from Fajardo which is East of the ‘El Yunque’ National Rainforest*, new arrivals should head to "Flamenco Beach" to frolic in its pink sands, This international live action ‘ecotek-gathering’ / ‘Caribbean Pirates Convention’ aspires to evolve, sustain and showcase the most conscious aspects of world renown events such as ‘www.BurningMan.com’ and 'International Rainbow Gatherings' & www.EarthDance.org as they transform greener spaces.
