Cascadian Pagans

public - created 08/02/05
A gathering and forum for Polytheists, Animists, Pantheists and Transcendalists in the bioregion of Cascadia to get together. We are a diverse collection of peoples ranging that Asatru, Hinduism Wicca, Kemeticism, Hellenism, the religions of the Native Peoples of the Americas, religions of the Trans-Atlantic African diaspora, Taoism, Buddhaism and a host of other insightful paths.

Though the word "pagan" is often seen as derrogitory. Its original meaning meant "one from the country-side" (Latin, Paganus) in reference to the last people of the Christianized Roman Empire to convert to Christianity. Out of pure simplicity I am using the word "Pagan" here as religion that is a host of different religions that often have a reverence towards Nature in common.
