The Cascadia Commons an umbrella or coalition organization representing efforts for bioregional sustainability in the Cascadian Bioregion.

Bioregionalism implies many practices working towards life-place living, and Cascadia Commons is looking to develop a team of supporting projects, organizations, institutions, and businesses to prevent the duplication of services, formally coordinate activities and pool resources towards accomplishing sustainability in the Cascadian Bioregion.

Currently, Cascadia Commons is seeking to build teams working on the following projects:

Develop a Bioregional and non-profit online newswire service called "The Cascadian."

Create a networking site for members of Cascadia Commons via the Community Prosper networking service.

Develop a Bioregional food network.

Establish a coalition organization that will represent member organizations participating in the Community Prosper program, and provide capacity building services to member organizations and startup services to co-housing groups and cooperative businesses.

Many new projects will soon be adopted. To become a part of the team, please send a message to the site administrator or send an email to savepac17@yahoo.com.
