Greetings,

The CastIron Carousel Marionette Troupe immediately seeks painters for photo-realistic backdrops and props! We are currently producing our 2007-2008 play and we need skilled artists to complete it. This is a great volunteer opportunity to build your portfolio and work on a unique project with fun-loving, creative people!

We need a few local artists to help craft the set, clothing and props. This is a highly detailed, science fiction, steampunk-style world. We need clever, creative people with a finely attuned attention to detail, the ability to problem solve on the fly and the ability to work fast.

We need help with the following tasks:
- Set creation and prop building. (like crafting doll house furniture)
- Clothing for the puppets. (Victorian era garments in 1/4": scale)
- Painting of backdrops and set pieces. (highly detailed production painting)
- Shadow puppet makers. (drawing and cutting skills)
- A Flash animator with the ability to composite.
