Ok, my job doesnt really suck its easy and I like the people I work with. We are eachothers saving grace. That being said I do ticket sales(sorry have to remain vague about where) but people unsatisfied with their seating can be unbelieveably nasty, pissed and almost violent. We do the best we can to accomidate all our patrons. We were expecting the shit to hit the fan and were prepared to try to defuse any situation.Sometime we can most of the time not so here are some things that were screamed at us over the passed week...
"YOU ARE A COCKAMAMIE PIECE OF SHIT, THIS IS GOING IN THE PAPERS!!!" - "YOUR JUST PART OF THE NEW GENERATION THAT JUST DOESNT GIVE A SHIT AND ALL YOU KNOW HOW TO SAY IS NO!!" - " YOU'RE ALL A BUNCH OF MISANTHROPIC JACKASSES!!"

The last one is my personal favorite it has crass intellegence, dont you think?Stay tuned, more to come!!!!

My shit job!

I got hired in my current job as a part time personal assistant to a busy psychotherapist and his girlfriend who is also a therapist. I trained for three days, working in their home. Their home is disorganized and messy, hygenically disgusting. They have eight cats, 5 live in a little room in the backyard, and the other three live in the house where one pees all over everything. My job duties started as data entry, filing, bookeeping, making salads, juice, food shopping, paying and mailing bills. The psychotherapist is a health nut, which is fine but the dude is afraid to DIE!

I have to prepare this powder concoction which includes many different things, that smell bad and are sticky. I have to prepare his vitamins which he takes several in the morning and in the evening, some of the vitmins include colostrum, which is what babies get when they first breast feed before the milk is produced, it's good for the immune system. I have to take organic eggs crack them open, dump the egg, keep the shells, dry them out and grind them up so he can some how consume them to help PREVENT osteoperosis.

To go to the bathroom, there is a hole in the floor that I have to step over and basically stradle the toilet so I don't fall through the hole, reminds me of the money pit where I will be folding dollar bills and singing the name song! The house is dark, damp and dank(The three D's)and it smells like b.o. and cat piss. They use only organic products and when asking what kind of soap to use to mop the floor I was told that they don't have it because then you have to mop up the soap, so only dirty water.

I can't stand this job, he claims to be busy but I have yet to see him really do anything and I feel bad for his girlfriend because she has been taking care of him for god knows how long.

I am not a neat freak, nor a prima donna but a little organization and decent hygiene would be nice. This job isn't for me, I am not happy and I am not going to continue working there.

Who's got a rant? Let's keep this going...I would love to hear your experiences!
