Free VW Van to a good home...

I've got a 1985 VW Vanagon (not camper) that runs (needs water pump replaced) and has a good stereo and plenty of room (center seat included). I've moved to Santa Rosa and don't want to bother with the vehicle any more. I'd love to give it to someone who could really use it for powerfully good things!!!

It passed smog two years ago and has been sitting for the majority of that time. Take it as it is.

December Arts Arcata exhibition at: It's Yoga Arcata in Sunnybrae

I'm showing four pieces at It's Yoga Arcata located in Sunnybrae two doors down from the Ace hardware store. My friend Diane, is the yoga instructor and owner, (BTW, she's great if you're thinking of starting yoga practice) asked me to hang a few pieces for Arts Arcata -so come on by and check them out! *smile*

My art is my devotional contribution to the adoration and reverence of the goddess aspect I see present in all women. I use the nude female form to portray the feminine aspect of the divine and I create imagery using nature as beautiful and distinctive scenery complimenting the figure. Come and view these large prints that were featured in Focus Magazine and the fine art photography exhibition at Photo San Francisco 2006.

OMG, seriously?? ...transport wanted

Ummm... damn, this is strange... Ok, so for 2 years I have been a Blue Lake fan without actually living there -this may now be changing, but only IF: I can find a way to get to work.

Does anyone know of anyone who drives from Blue Lake into Arcata (on a regular basis) by 7:15am in the morning???

I would LOVE to hook up a transportation arrangement (ie: gas$$ for regular am rides into Arcata) I am a 29 year old female teacher, and I'm very nice :) -The BL bus doesn't work for me because it doesn't get to Arcata until 7:30am.

Please pass this on if you can...

On Monday I saw "The Wandering Menstuals" at Muddy Water's in Arcata. It was SUCH and AWESOME show!! Technically it's an open-mike night, but "The Wandering Menstruals" are a group of regular performers (all female) who run it, and they are REALLY good. It's open only to (any)women to perform, but everyone can come watch.

So...

Goddess Choir to perform! (which means come see me :)

Monday, November 13th, 8pm, at Muddy Water's at the Wandering Menstruals (women's) open-mike!

We're comin' home! Woo Hoo!!!

Yep, Jean and I are comin' back to Blue Lake (one week)!
So be sure to give us a wave along the river levee and through town!
We've been in SoCal for eight months helping out Jean's mom go through cancer treatment. She did great, at 80 yrs. old, is feeling good with good response to the treatment. We've been coming up for 'visits' every two months or so, not enough.

SoCal is sooooooooooo different from Humboldt and Blue Lake, too much concrete. We're coming back to the treeeeeeeeees! yeah baby! Ok, I'll settle down, can't wait though...
