Have you noticed how alot of other webcomics such as PVP like to make fun of penny-aracade for being immature. Whats up with dat?

Don't get me wrong, I love the strip, but it's definitely lowbrow comedy. Not that PVP (for example) is much better. I don't think Gabe & Tycho have ever used fart jokes, which kinda gives them a one-up on Kurtz. -

My take on it is that anyone who puts up a webcomic is inviting ridicule from the world at large, not to mention their "peers" in the webcomic world. If they can't take the heat, they won't be in the kitchen long.
I find the banter among webcomic artists to be amusing, but only when I actively read the comics in question. -

A really good example of PVP taking the high road and Penny-arcade going a little more low-brow is here
