Goddessdance is transcendent music and dance theater. An explosion of spirit, passion, sensuality and beauty Goddessdance crosses all cultural boundaries and blurs the line between inner and outer space. The show illuminates while entertaining; with unexpected moments of humor.

Themes reflect the history of human spiritual thought. The choreography spans from primal ritual to sacred futuristic jazz funk. Haunting exotic melodies, intense rhythms and powerful poetry create an ecstatic musical experience.

GODDESSDANCE is a celebration of the mystery of life, featuring a cast of sacred bellydancers, drummers and singers from around the globe. An original soundtrack and breathtaking choreography seamlessly blends ancient and modern, eastern and western elements. Choreographer Jehan draws heavily from middle dance and vocabulary, ancient myths the elemental forces of earth, air, fire, water and principles of sacred geometry to weave her spell. Flesh and spirit unit, modern-day priestesses are doorways to super conscious realms, the dances mandalas upon which to dream. The story of bellydance parallels the history of human spiritual thought. From its original high position of sacredness in the prehistoric earth mother goddess cults it has survived the long age of patriarchal dominance, in the guise of entertainment, and re-emerging as a dance healing and empowerment for women around the world. Goddessdance is the name Jehan uses to describe the most ancient and future form of sacred bellydance she is resurrecting. A dance which is not only sexy, fun entertainment but passionate, a mystical journey towards balance and enlightenment.
