We talked about the best bits of the weekend on the way home in the car and I wondered if anyone else wanted to play ?

I'll start :
My best bits were
3, at the end of my two workshops watching everyone dance the final music through - the choreography looked mighty fine and the tribal "bus stop" looked fab fun !
2, Saturday morning, finding I could do most of Moroccos choreo even though I had to miss the first half and sat quietly at the back. That lady sure knows have to make movements fit the music !
1, Friday night - Nashida Abla kicking everything off with their happy smiles and then that mood carrying on all evening (all weekend), darling Poppy, Mersin doing Peace and all the other great performers. And it was so nice to sit back and watch everyone all working hard and giving us a great show.

And I want a bonus one for getting to share the weekend with all the wonderful people. I made some new friends, met some I only know on here or facebook, and lots who come back year after year !

Thank you Afra - you did it again ! x

My best bits had to be spending time with Aziza, (she massaged my neck and shoulders for me on Sunday when I was poorly) :) Me and Jan both crying at Morocco's performance on Saturday night and watching Becca and Rich perform, I had shivers down my spine! Watching Sara and Poppy have a cuddle after Poppys beautiful performance. ( I am so soppy). and just seeing old and new friends.

It was a great weekend, can't wait for next years.

    Thanks Afra

Best bits for me? Actually being able to come along this year was almost enough. Rocky saying "wow" in a nice way when Anna and I passed her in the corridor in full Covert Bling bling on Friday evening. Being in a workshop with Morocco and hearing her talk about the dance and it's history. Seeing so many great performances in both shows. Getting lovely feedback about the Mersin performance ("You all looked like you were enjoying it and enjoying dancing with one another"). Aziza making us weepy when she got weepy on Sunday, talking about her passion for the dance and her appreciation of us having a passion.

I had a great time and would like to thank everyone involved with setting it up and making it all run so smoothly x

    Aziza!

And not throwing up on stage even though I felt like I would.

And Saturday night, which was superb.

I know what you mean about throwing up, I always feel sick before I perform and I shake so much I find it hard to get dressed and apply my make up!!!
