Hey there, Athonwy here. I have been using CEP for about 2.5 years now, switched to AA when it came out, now onto AA 2.0. I love this program! I keep coming back to it, after trying Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, Reason and Ableton, I came right on back to Adobe Audition 1.5 to record my bands first album. Now I'm delving into 2.0, and loving it. I still use Ableton for mixing live sets, but AA is where it's at for my recording needs. If I had a Mac I might use Digital Performer, but I don't have a mac and don't want one. My recording setup right now is a Phonic Helix 18 Firewire into a custom built Athlon 3200 w/ 1 gig of Ram and 250 gigs of storage, listened to through Behringer Truths. Overall it's a good setup, and the work I've turned out so far is, in my opinion, studio quality. I look forward to reading other peoples advice on AA on this tribe, and I'd be happy to share what I know. Peace.
