It depends what you want. Most orders out there are based on the books of Regardie and nothing else.
www.golden-dawn.com is the only one connected to the original Golden Dawn founded in 1888. They are their lineal successor.

The Temple of Thelema, TOT and College of Thelema , COT, are two entry methods into my lineage of the A.'.A.'. The Temple is a golden dawn structured system created by Jim Eshelman, who was the student of Phyllis Seckler. The College was created by Phyllis herself and has two extensions, the College of Thelema, and the College of Thelema Northern California, COTNC (both Phyllis') in which I am an instructor.

I personally went the college route, but have friends who are and have done the Temple of Thelema. There is also, the Temple of the Silver Star, TOSS, which is another method of entry into the A.'.A.'. and a golden dawn structured system, created by my teacher, David Shoemaker, who was also a student of Phyllis Seckler. The TOSS is a small, Sacramento based group as of right now with some extension going on into the bay area.

All four of these schools are intense work, but excellent foundations and guidance. I studied astrology from Phyllis while she was still living and she was an incredible human being. Jim and David both are awesome masters of compassion and strong teachers. We all, of course, have lineage from Crowley himself through Sr. Estai, Jane Wolfe, who was the teacher of Phyllis (OH!! I SAID THE L WORD!)
    :)
Anyway, here are the links if you are interested....

    Take care
PS- if you live somewhere where you can not be involved in a group, I would highly suggest doing the Builders of the Adytum correspondence course. I did when I lived in the sticks before moving, and it was incredibly helpful.
