I had the same reaction. Here in Berkeley, you have a lot of wannabe rastafarians (pasty white with really bad dreadlocks and an aversion to soap) who get very offended at everything, even if the thing in question was never intended to be offensive.

I doubt any self-respecting rasta would go vent on Tribe, anyway. There's probably wayy too many fun people around to need to go jerk off with a keyboard.

But holy shit, I went to a couple of Earth Day/Bioneers/eco events in the past few years where they've had like a whole family of rainbow white rastas performing (I'm not sure if it's all one band, or if the Bay Area hosts a bunch of different groups like this)- and they FUCKING USE THE GODDAMN JAMAICAN ACCENT IN ORDINARY SPEECH, like they ain't originally from the suburbs of Los Gatos or whatever. The first time I heard the fake accent my jaw hit the ground so hard I had a bruise for weeks. Hasn't someone thought to slap those people around a bit for this idiocy?
