Hi
Here's a new meetup: yoga.meetup.com/566/
Let's meetup to do some Sufi practices. These are yoga like
practices (incorporating Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga,
Kundalini Yoga, but not the most commonly known Hatha Yoga)
from the Middle East and India.
These practices can lead to meditative and altered states, with
the ultimate goal of self-knowledge.
This brand of Sufism is universalist, respects all religions
and does not require specific beliefs to practice. As an Indian
Universalist version of Sufism it is not Islamic per se,
however Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, etc. are all
welcomed to practice.
When?
Saturday, Sep 22, 2007, 4:30 PM 2007
Where?
Unity Center of Peace Church
8800 Seawell School Rd
Chapel Hill, NC 27516
Event fee
$3.00 per person
