Welcome to the tribe created as an information/communication hub for the planning of the charity bellydance event in Erie PA "Shimmy for a Cure" scheduled for May 31, 2008 at the Erie Playhouse in downtown Erie. This event will benefit the John Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation. Mr. Kanzius, originally from Erie, is currently researching a promising therapy cure utilizing radiowaves to destroy cancer cells. The goal of this event is to promote awareness of this research, showcase the art of bellydance and finally, to provide a monetary contribution via the proceeds from this event!
