Hi everybody,
My bellydance friends and I are participating in Shimmy for a Cure, a fundraising event at The Erie Playhouse, and we can use your support! There are a few ways you can help us listed below. All proceeds to benefit the John Kansius Cancer Research Foundation!
(Check out 60 Minutes this Sunday, April 13th, to see the John Kansius interview).
---To purchase tickets for the show on Saturday, May 31st:
This is Erie's first Bellydance Gala Show and the lineup is amazing! Check it out at www.shimmyforacure.com !! There are Gold Tickets $30 (includes up front seating and a meet-and-greet wine, cheese, and chocolate reception with the performers (some internationally known bellydancers!!!) after the show!) and I have some available for family and friends until May 1; have to release them if I haven't sold them by then! Regular seats are also available for $15. Just drop me a line and let me know how many tickets you'd like and what kind and I’ll hold them for you. You can mail me a check asap, and remember the deadline is May 1st!! Tickets can also be purchased directly from The Erie Playhouse box office www.erieplayhouse.org right up until the event or from the paypal link on the website www.shimmyforacure.com/tickets.htm

----To honor a cancer survivor/victim in our program and candle dance:
This will include your name, your sponsoree's name, and the amount donated. I will turn in the listings on May 1st also. $5.00 minimum donation.
---To attend the Bellydance workshops on Sunday, June 1st:
The Fleming School is sponsoring Zafira Dance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa for 2 full workshops at The Avalon Hotel in Erie. To register visit www.theflemingschool.com/workshops.htm
