In replies from my last topic, I saw that many of you have problems with the rising costs of shirts. Many of you mentioned $10 being your limit. I found this trend to be quite interesting. I have heard your voices and am ready to address your concerns. This week, here are some awesome tips to help you save money on shirts and other clothing.
-Tip #1- Date Someone in Retail: If you date someone in retail, you can take advantage of their employee discount. I once dated a girl who worked at a Sears. Her chest may have been flatter than mine, but I got some awesome outfits out of it!
-Tip #2- Fatten Up Your Friends: Simply find a friend who's your size, fatten them up, and ask for their clothes once they don't fit anymore. Trust me, it works! My old roommate's "Freshmen 15" turned into a "Freshmen 50". In the end, I got a lot of his old clothes that he no longer fit in. His cholesterol may be through the roof, but I look better in his jeans than he ever did.
-Tip #3- Goodwill: Many people assume Goodwill is ghetto and consider it to be below them. However, there are many diamonds within the rough. I've found many awesome articles of clothing within the less desirable objects. You just have to have a keen eye.
There you have it! No longer must you submit to stores like Target and Ross bleeding you dry of your hard earned money! You are now empowered! Now get out there and make some awesome cheap ass outfits!
Frugal Power!
