Re: SHEDS
Sat, December 15, 2007 - 10:37 PMI've thought about turning the loft in my barn into a living space. It wouldnt be hard, a little insulation with some of that chip pressed plywood for wall's, build a few shelves, a small fridge and install a small wood burner. That would require carrying firewood up stair's though. I might try out one of those pellet stove's or just rig up some kind of dummy elevator with a couple of pully's. That should make it easier to bring up heavier stuff. It would have to have a window air conditioner too, it get's ungodly hot up there in the summer.

Sat, December 15, 2007 - 11:01 PMWow, sheds have come a long way since my youth on the farm. Those look more like little cottages to me, I could easily live in one. -

Sat, December 15, 2007 - 11:36 PMThere's alot of people around here that own land way out where there's no electric pole's that put little cottage like shed's out there for hunting cabin's. There's a place up in town that even finances them.

Sun, December 16, 2007 - 10:39 AMI've seen those log cabin type's with the little porches and green metal roof's for 2,500.00. That include's the cost of delivery and set up too. I don't think that's too bad.
