After reading the newbie page on the yahoo groups site, I felt a bit overwhelmed...

I'm a single woman, but would be happy to participate in some sort of round-robin labor exchange. I'm wondering if there are any within a day's drive or so from LA...

My property is about 2 hours east of Los Angeles (high desert, possible earthquakes, very little winter / precipitation), and I'm at the very beginning of the whole enterprise (saving money, reading about woods, etc.)

Speaking of which, I looked up the various woods available in my area, (citrus, eucalyptus) but they aren't listed on the various shrinkage calculators.
