Breaking Decomp News --

Yes, we are pushing our capacity for this event. Yes,
we have determined when the RSVP is closing.

Saturday September 20 5:00 PM EST is the RSVP
deadline.

Following much discussion balancing:

(a)the desire to provide the best canvas for the event
as possible (safe, fun, enough clean potties, clear
parking, good camping etc.)

with the desire to:

(b)accommodate as many attendees as possible from the
Detroit, Chicago and West Michigan Burner communities

We are using the following plan for Decomp attendance:

1. The deadline to RSVP is 5:00 PM EST Saturday
September 20 2008.

2. Based on current RSVP's we expect our final
attendance numbers to be a bit above the 500 person
originally planned capacity.

3. The event setup crew will use the actual RSVP count
this Sunday AM to adjust parking plans, port-o-potty
order, camping layout etc.

4. I will catch-up on the backlog of RSVP confirmation
emails and have them out to all RSVP'd folks by Monday
9/22/08 midnight. This gives 2 days after that for
any corrections and adjustments before I will be
off-line and on-site.

5. Attendees MUST bring their confirmation codes to
the event. This code is your ticket. The gate
volunteers will match your RSVP'd name, confirmation
code, and the count you submitted.

6. If you do not RSVP by this Saturday 5:00 PM EST You
will not get a confirmation code and you should not
show up to the event. Seriously, we ask that you
please do not turn up at the gate begging to be let in
if you haven't RSVP'd...

IF YOU HAVE RSVP'D but have not yet received your
confirmation code and direction info, please be
patient. There is one of me and a few hundred of you
to get back to. As of late tonight, I have sent
confirmations to people who RSVP'd on or before
September 16. I'll be working on this again tomorrow
night after work, Saturday night etc. until we're
caught up.

7. Suggested donation at the door is $20.00

8. RSVP confirmation email includes lots of info and
look for a quick web page link this weekend for key
event "Survival Guide" info.

9. Gates open at Noon Friday September 26.

Thank you all for helping bring Decomp to life! The
theme camps, volunteers, art and other pieces that I'm
hearing about are awesome.
