Hey, lovely Chi-town Burners, my best-est pal was just given the awesome task of organizing a Dr. Sketchy's for Aurora. If you haven't heard of Dr. Sketchy's yet it's a fabulous combination of "burlesque cabaret and life drawing" class with "a burlesque dancer (or other performer, possibly a drag queen, trapeze artist, or roller derby girl) modeling, with drawing contests during breaks" -- www.drsketchy.com/

All we need now is a SPACE. A bar that hosts bands would be awesome, but any kind of art space big enough to put up a platform and a bunch of chairs would work.

Anyone know of a sympathetic bar owner, gallery space, or underground art warehouse out that way?
