For the first time in Tulsa the Empyreal People are hosting a New School warehouse party. This party will be a transforming step in the Tulsa scene, paving the way for the parties of the future. This is the best line up T-town has seen in years with 6 headliners, 2(possibly even 3) of which are performing live sets, one of which is on the cutting edge with live integrated visuals! The Empyreal People promise to give you an experience which will light up your chakra's and give you a taste of the Empyreal realm.

The project Twisted DUO was designed to be a cybernetic collective in which Digital Defiant is the creative axis. With influences ranging from Ravi Shankar to Depeche Mode and from electronic influences from Brian Eno to Underworld the sounds Twisted DUO are best described as one contributing member called it, "Twisted steel with sex appeal." Gift Culture is the result - his attempts to share his explorations in this multi-dimensional space; to evoke sonic textures from samplers, synthesizers, and DSP algorithms that can only come from those things; a journey to discover their "voices", so to speak, using such techniques as granular synthesis, spectral resynthesis, FFT/IFFT based spectral morphing and interpolation, and whatever other exotic algorithms he can coax out of his myriad machines. Because T-town loves it's out-a-towners, the Empyreal People have arranged it so that there is a designated crash spot with a bathroom and shower after the show, a place to catch a couple of Z's for those who have a long drive home. This isn't an after party though, reserved for those who actually need sleep. Bring a tent and sleeping bag.
