Twisted D.U.O. - Las Vegas, NV
(Shiva Studios / NV604 www.myspace.com/twistedduo)
"Twisted DUO is a project that is the mastermind of one man, a Las Vegas based dj named Digital Defiant. The project Twisted DUO was designed to be a cybernetic collective in which Digital Defiant is the creative axis. With influences ranging from Ravi Shankar to Depeche Mode and from electronic influences from Brian Eno to Underworld the sounds Twisted DUO are best described as one contributing member called it, "Twisted steel with sex appeal." Sexy, yet psychedelic. Energetic, yet mellow. Exploring sounds that are not only cerebral but topically invigorating. This is music designed to reach those living on the brink of two separate world.
The mission of this collective, as passed down from the gods of techno in the cosmos, is to expand the performance of the electronic music dj. Embracing technology as tools to manipulate sound and forge it into an abyssal of thought, motion, and intrigue. Learn to refuse the programming set inside you to resist natural urges. It's okay to be blissful and content. It's okay to express yourself in a creative manner. Leaning to love yourself will then teach you to love others. Being content with your state of being will allow to not only express yourself freely, but accept others (with all thier flaws intact). This will in turn lead to a a blissful existence."

Gift Culture - Dallas, TX : live PA
(Psymbolic Sounds, www.myspace.com/giftculturemusic/)
"The Gift Culture project is based on sounds, imagery, and art derived from DSP technology, analogue synthesis, and computer-based non-linear editing. As Gift Culture maestro Michael Hale explains,
' In this day and age, it is possible to sculpt light and sound as if they were clay. Any possible sound you can imagine can be created.'
Gift Culture is the result - his attempts to share his explorations in this multi-dimensional space; to evoke sonic textures from samplers, synthesizers, and DSP algorithms that can only come from those things; a journey to discover their "voices", so to speak, using such techniques as granular synthesis, spectral resynthesis, FFT/IFFT based spectral morphing and interpolation, and whatever other exotic algorithms he can coax out of his myriad machines. "
Freedom - Feyetteville, AR
(Esoteric Generation)
A leader and long time veteran of the Northwest Arkansas Psychedelic trance scene freedom has been pleasing crowds for years. His dark and heavy sound is sure to get your boots scootin.
Artificial Life Preserver - Dallas, TX (live pa?)

"ALP has been working to preserve algorythms that behave like living systems since 1997. Insect-like drones and cell based beats drive environmental mixes of organized time units. Drawing from his experience as a member of Texas Psy-trance trio Init-String ALP will bring you a night of abstract, glitchy downtempo that could only come from a mind such as this."
