I'm jus sayin'...

Please dont go to work sick and breathe into someone's face!
I got this respiratory mess that everyone at work has which immediately turns into pneumonia. It only took me less than a week to get over it with natural remedies (from 104.3 fever and coughing up horrible stuff to semi-ok in less than a week). Everyone else (people at work...friends of my mom) has had it for weeks to months! My Manager ended up in the hospital for a day and on really strong antibiotics...she bruised her rib cage with the coughing and now her doc says she'll have the cough for 8 months (why do they always think they can predict these things?)

I go to work Monday mostly better but still run down and someone gets in the elevator with me and says right in my face..."yeah...Ive got strep throat..."

DAMN!!! Sure enough that night my throat becomes excrutiating and I wake up in the middle of the night with blisters on my tonsil. I called in and took two days off and again...in two days...with natural remedies...Im almost better. And Yeah...I KNOW it was pneumonia and strep...Im very familiar with both...strep because Ive had it many times in the past and pneumonia because of my past EMT work and plus EVERYONE Im working with has just had it (most were hospitalized).
Anyway...the nice thing about it is that natural cures are vindicated for me again and Ive had so much time to spend here!
Love you guys!
Peace.

Ugh man I am SO SORRY! I've been lucky enough not to have anybody cough on me at all this year and I haven't been sick in like two years. But I've been taking better care of myself so that's probably why!

there are some truly rotten viral bugs floating around England at the minute and its horrid as they seem to last months. Me personally been suffering with headaches and bad tiredness for about a month and its getting very annoying!

sorry everyone keeps passing things on to you! i have always wondered why people seem to love to share their bugs! i can understand from an employees position why they like their staff to continue coming in but it doesn't help others! the one thing i never get is restaurants and sick staff. my friend is made to come in no matter how ill she is and her boss is a right cow. i think thats disgusting!

      get well soon Mermie! xx

i am a constant hand washer at work, i also wipe down shared surfaces (phone, doorknobs, sign in pens, etc....) atleast once a day. I know it may seem extreme, but when you are dealing with the general public and their general germs it is what one must do to stay healthy. That and rainbow lite woman's once a day multi vits.

hope you are feeling better soon mermi

Unfortunately it's rather sad to say, that there is a serious lack of consideration, and common sense in society today. When you are sick (contagious with fever) going to work is not okay. When you see a person who has a oxygen tank and a large load of groceries, you stop and help them. When a mother/father is trying to get her/his stroller through a door with a whole heard of children with them, you step in front of the person giving the "oh, god, come on" look and help the parent. When there are kids trying to cross the road to get to the playground, you stop traffic regardless of the honking from the cars behind you. The list can for sure go on and on, bottom line "consideration" and "common sense", just where did those go?? - oh, and compassion, I want to know where that simple little emotion went too.

Get Well Soon Mermi, loads of echinacea and vit. c.
