Its a bittersweet weekend.
Im so sad Im not there with my friends and so disappointed Im missing Charles DeLint and Charles Vess among others.
But at the same time Im finding myself in the middle of something...all of a sudden thinking of them all there and picturing what theyre doing and I have a big grin on my face because I see Sylver and Hawk and Willow being silly...and Katie dancing ethereally...and Copper looking like she stepped out of a Steampunk Anime...and Cyn in her fabulous top hat selling out of her wares...and Kelly and Lio and Kimmy and the rest of Woodland...well...you know what they're looking/sounding like...beautiful...and Im so happy for them all and so grateful that they all exist.

And you know Copper? I was enchanted by here very briefly at the bar. While being beaten by her wings. A pity I didn't see her again.
Anyhow, yes, a write up is definitely in order.

Yes...Copper...I am fortunate to count Copper as one of my beautiful friends (she made my bad day costume last year too! She is SO damn talented!)! I'll bet you were mesmerized! Heehee -

Sun, November 15, 2009 - 5:52 AMit was pure bliss indeed!! and Copper appointed herself my "head minion" ;-) I did indeed dance ethereally, and was honored to be part of the ritual on Friday night, holding one side of the Goddess Gate open for the Dryad to go through, while silly Willow held open the other side... and I got to escort Priscilla Hernandez on stage, enveloping her in big black crow wings! Could life get any sweeter?? But alas, all the west coast fae, led by one very special Mermaid, who couldn't make it out there were sorely missed!!!
