That might prove a bit tricky, I've always wanted to fly on Pegasus.

    Over the moon.

Great, that's makes two crazy people on this thread... :-P

I wouldn't say you are crazy, and I also think one day you both could do as you want. Just have to have opportunity, belief, ability, and such things like that. You'll do fine. :)

George RR Martin has completed four books in the series, A Song of Ice and Fire . . . each of which is nearly a thousand pages. .

The next book A Dance with Dragons was due in 2005. He keeps setting back the date for publication, last date was supposed to be September. We used to love him but now. . .we are sharpening our knives. .

            from a french website. . .

"Finished a Jon Snow chapter, and have just passed the 1100 page (manuscript pages, the page count in the final printed book will be different) mark on A DANCE WITH DRAGONS. That’s counting only finished chapters in something close to final form. I have considerably more in partials, fragments, and roughs.

Even with just the finished portions, DANCE is now longer than A FEAST FOR CROWS and A GAME OF THRONES, and I’m closing in on A CLASH OF KINGS. I do hope I can wrap things up before I approach the 1521 page length of A STORM OF SWORDS.

Making a new run at the Meereenese knot, but maybe not tomorrow. I think I’ll hang around at the Wall a bit longer, and maybe visit Winterfell."

I'm in the same boat, in fact I you got me all excited with the tittle thinking you were announcing it had FINALLY been released!

Arrrrrggggg this man is killing me. It's a great series but this pace......

And what about A Feast for Crows? Who writes half a book! Arrrrggggghhhhhhh!

(For those that have yet to read these books and thus need a 12 step program like me, the 4th book, A Feast for Crows, only follows half the characters (and not my fav's). Martin is kinda wordy and the publisher made him split the original manuscript I guess)

The damnable thing is that he had just about written the whole book Feast of Crows, and then split it. . .that left us fans. . .uh, incredibly rapid fans, thinking that we could have the other book in a couple of years, which he said he could do. . .that would have been maybe three years ago!!!

And while Feast of Crows, the last book is better than your usual book in the genre, as Nathan said, it didn't include the juiciest characters. . .so we are foaming at the mouth and now it looks as if the next projected date for publication is Spring 2010.

And there are two more books in the series after that. . .I don't know if I can take it.

So, the gist of this is. . .GRRM is a hella good writer. . .not for the faint hearted or weak limbed though. .
