Possible Burning Hand party at war

Ok, ok, I know what you are thinking but hear me out.

It is has been a desire of mine to have a themed Party at Pennsic. Because 1. I am a mental case, and 2. To retain my membership in the BH, we are required to be Sh*T stirrers from time to time. (only in a good, fun for us kind of way)

The proposal, Similar to the Crack Whore Party that it is small and invite only.

The Party is...

The Burning Hand Celebration of Fire

All it is, is we pick a night, invite some other camps, and burn a lot of shit.

Entry to the party is A. An invite, B. Something cool and weird to burn.

sorry, just could not hold the idea in any longer.

What do you think?

But we already threw our rattan chairs in your fire, was it 3 years ago? (They burned rather nicely, if I remember correctly..)

I am obsessed with the fire fans. I'm going to get some so I can play with fire, too. Can I play with you??? Please??? Love them. Thanks for letting Jez and I try them out.

Zing's right, knuckle hair is overrated. And, I have none left on my right hand ANYWAY after Siggurd thought it would be a good idea to flick the lighter right as I was reaching for my beer in front of it at Fey's after-wedding party.

I suddenly got a mental image that had nothing to do with what you were intending to say. Hmmm

That would be A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Flaming Wicked Gypsies of Burning Goat Island Camp. I'm in. I just need to order my fans. I'll do that in October or November. Winter would be a good time to practice with them. They'll keep us warm and, in case of accidents, we can just roll around in the snow.

I am dirty, no amount of bathing helps

When you come out of the shower/bath dirtier than when you went in is the best shower/bath there is. Of course it helps to have a co conspirator. Then law dictates you start the process all over again.

                              Hooray for shower buddies.

Anyways thinking about us having a pyro party. There is already one that happens second Thursday of war week. It is down the road towards the lost boys. I do worry about the unevenness of the ground in our camp, and drunks, and fire. I think a few extra fire extinguishers in camp might be good as well. Also yummy dancers do not like dancing around firepits that resemble the 6th level of hell in heat.
A does it burn party could be interesting. The dangers involved in that would be keeping explosives from being tossed in. Weather purposeful ones or accidental ones. We could make some thermite up for the really hard cases. Not that thermite is the safest stuff, but it is rather inert by itself. We would need some magnesium strips to light it. Or even a sparkler would do. Not as safe as a strip, but works anyways. People wanting things burned would have to check them in for inspection at the door. Also they would not be allowed to toss them in at random. since we would be the sober ones, we will be doing the burnination of things. We might need some smaller tongs. Well a smaller gripping surface, on 4 feet or so. So things needed. Lots of wood. I would need to bring some oxy-acetelyne tanks with my torches, and thermite. Also some sort of thing to set thermite in like small clay flower pots. Some semi flame proof grabbers besides the fire tongs.
Big ass leather gloves. Booze. Well for booze we could get a keg, and I could make up 10 gallons or so of doom. At a slightly lower strength.

I'm looking forward to my shower with my buddy!!

AS for Dancing with fire... I will NOT be drinking (or smoking my whaky tobaky either) and playing with fire. And level ground is always appreciated but we can work around what'cha got... your camp isn't that bad on level ground. But if we did play with fire, we would need people to stand back and maybe some of you awesome BH men could keep them back for us while we play for your entertainment. ;^)
