Sun, May 4, 2008 - 3:11 PMMail in registration ends on May 15th, but online registration ends June 15th, so although I recognize that encouraging people to register is the goal, I'm hoping that all those who forget to register by May 15th know they still can do it for another month after that. As for mail-in vs. online: I am wondering who mails it in anymore? I just can't imagine the cross-section of people who are in the SCA but not on the internet!
Looking forward to seeing you all again, finally!

HOWEVER, since my emails and posts resulted in a whopping *three* more pre-regs, I figured I would start pointing out every single deadline until people actually did something.
Particularly because the deadline that the Clovenshield land staff set for pre-regs has actually *passed*, and still only a dozen people (many of whom are guests) actually did it yet.
I assume that everyone who is a guest or is bringing a guest has checked with Nissan, correct? -

Mon, May 5, 2008 - 12:33 AMActually, Jaya, I have not heard from some people who seem to be planning to be guests or bring guests. I don't know if it will be a problem, but if we are short of room, members and immediate family get priority. (If they get off their asses and register).
Members bringing guests without checking with me or non members who are just planning on being guests without checking with me should make sure they have alternate plans. -

18 hours and counting until wedding.... I am at the "what gets done, gets done" stage.
My oldest son flew in from Fort Carson last night, youngest son got in from Okinawa on the 9th, middle son and his new wife arrive at 9PM tonight... and my daughter sweetly informed me Friday evening that all the bridesmaids are spending the night tonight..... Arghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
I am sooooo needing Pennsic to be here so I can "relax" !!
Hmmm........ maybe I should start carrying the monkey wrench around today!! LOL!!!

Tue, July 15, 2008 - 8:03 AMFor those of you not on the mailing list, we DID successfully get our land back. Thank you to everyone who pre-regged without having to be harassed about it!
Just an FYI for anyone in E-11 on Zero Hour... E-11 has changed shape this year. (I'm assuming for administrative purposes only.) Everyone involved understands what happened, and we got lucky because the "new" land agent on our block has been a friend of Random and Nissan's since they were all in high school.
I just didn't want anyone to panic when they saw the new map on land day with an "extra" group. It's all good!
Thanks again to everyone who got their pre-regs in. We really appreciate it! -
