SOMETHING
Something Old, Something New - 80s, 90s & Now
Indie, New Wave, Electro, Britpop, Goth, Alternative
& Whatever We Want!
Friday the 13th of April.
RETOX Lounge
The second SOMETHING happened last Friday night, April 13th, and it was even better than the first one. Not as packed this time, which was nice, as there was a little more room to dance. Seems like the first event attracted a lot of curious people who wanted to see what SOMETHING was about, but this time people came (or came back) because they knew what to expect and that brought out a lot of people that we know. Some amazing sets by The Melting Girl, Donimo, Tomas Diablo, and of course, me! I’ve never had so many people come up to me in the DJ booth, whether it was an old song or a new one, and say, "Wow, I love this song!" Guess it was a Friday the 13th kinda thing.
Thanks to everyone who came out, and the rest of you, hope you can make the next one. Remember that SOMETHING happens on the second Friday. Next event: Friday, May 11th. Stay tuned for guest DJ announcements.

I've heard your theory a bunch of times about how 'Join In The Chant' is always followed by Front 242's 'Headhunter'. Theory disproved.

Ok, for that I will have to give Kudos to Tomas! It was NOT followed by Headhunter.
And it was definitely NOT followed by Rick Astley! (How embarrassing for that DJ.) -
