Learned how to drive on the back country roads of New England. Really learned how to drive like a son-of-a-bitch in Boston.
Currently I have no car. But my first was a '76 MG Midget. Most of the following ones were stick as well. Driving barefoot is like being one with the car.

Not really a gear head tribe...since I'm the moderator. Of course this tribe is public, unlike Popular Opinions, so it will become whatever it will become in the coming months. But it started as a joke when I visited Jones in SF. I kept telling him I was a Master Clutchman as well as president of the Clutchman's Guild.
My first car was the one my parents bought when I was two...a grey 1980 Toyota Tercel. I fucking loved that car.... -

Shifting & accelerating at the same time is such a thrill. Especially after a few beers, good ones, I am too old to drink cheap beer .... usually ... -
