Bliss summer tour so far...

Blissed out after 4 major festivals so far…Harmony Festival, High Sierra, Oregon Country Fair, String Cheese show at Horning’s Hideout, and more to come…Solfest at Real Goods in Hopland, CA, then we are co-sponsoring Earthdance in Sept., Greenfest in San Fran and then we go to Hawaii for a kirtan/Bliss tasting tour with Jaya Lakshmi and Luna. We could use good contacts for tabla players who love kirtan in Maui and on the Big Island in late Nov. early Dec.

Thanks to all our enthusiastic volunteers, helpers, tasters, and elves…Chris G, Gaius, Ema, Bryn and Robin, Ocean Rose, Chance, Marie, Jonathan, Megan, Alpha lo, the dread pirate Mike Jones, Muse, Abigail, Jenya, Mandy, Beth, Greg, Jesse, Nathan…and many more to come, I am sure…If you would like to work the booth at a festival join our Tribe.net listing or email me.

We are really enjoying interacting with folks, introducing them to Coconut Bliss and just watching them light up! We love hearing from folks who have been unable to eat ice cream for years and just discovered us. We told the California lovers of Bliss to ask for it in the stores and within a month we are making deliveries to 17 stores in California!

We are now focusing on calculating our carbon footprint and also how to make our company even more sustainable! If you have any info on solar/wind powered cargo ships or companies who supply organic ingredients that we might use in our Bliss flavors who are certified organic, fair trade and at a good price. We could always use more options for new flavors. We have also collaborated with Eco-Tea to make a new flavor of Yerba Mate’ with goji berries for festivals and we would like to find other companies with compatable products that we jive with to make special runs of festival flavors!

Free Saturday pass to High Sierra

We need a resupply of dry ice on Saturday at High Sierra. The closest suppliers are in Grass Valley or Reno. Anyone who is willing to pick up 100 pounds of dry ice (about $1 a pound) and bring it to me, I will buy you a ticket for Saturday. Of course, I would also reimburse you for the ice and the gas costs to get from the dry ice place to Quincy. It is about 80 miles from High Sierra to Reno. Another possibility is to come from Redding on I-5. I am looking for other dry ice suppliers in Grass Valley. We could borrow a car and go on our own if you are willing to work with us on that as well.

Vending Crew for summer festivals!

Tammy here and I am going to need folks who would like to attend some of these festivals and help me vend the bliss...Believe me, it is so much fun to serve it up and good music to dance to as well! I will post each festival as I know we are in and the dates and how many passes I have. We will be hauling the carts and freezers to the festival along with a big box of Bliss packed in dry ice. There will be heavy lifting, hauling coolers full of bliss from the truck to the site as we sell it, shifts selling at the cart, and break-down, clean-up after the fest. Let me know if you want to be on the 'call list' and which festivals you are available for.

Larry and Luna will be giving away samples from 10am-6pm on Saturday May 12th, in Portland at Benson High School 546 NE 12th Ave.
