Here is what I think is one of many party themes that fits us well. Come drop your socks and let the fungus be among us! Master Eric presents ....

"Pimps Up, Ho's Down!" Themed Open Play Party
Friday, May 2, 2008 8pm - 1am
SF Citadel
1277 Mission Street; San Francisco, CA 94103
Admission: $25 (membership required and always available at the door
for just $10)

SF Citadel has been known for innovative themes with many Open Play
Parties over the years...& this night is no exception! Join us as we
add a little extra "raciness" to the night. Although costume attire is
not mandatory, we encourage you to "dress as you dare" for the
evening--pimps, pimpettes, Madames, hookers, johns janes...even
vice cops! The name of the game for the night is extra sexy, extra
provocative, extra alluring---but your best fetish attire is more than sufficient!

Prizes will be awarded for the best male & female themed costumes of the night!

DJ Mystic Moods, "The Most Dangerous DJ", will be spinning
flashback '70s funk & R&B as well as today's dark, dungeon sounds, &
delicious snacks will be provided...featuring Charlie's famous PIZZA!!

As always, safer sex & dungeon furniture cleaning supplies
are supplied...you simply provide the energy & the fun times!

    I have to say, Mystic, that I don't want to be judgemental, but the theme makes me uncomfortable. I like the disclaimer that Eric added. And my discomfort with that party theme is my own problem. I'm certainly not going to tell the Citadel what sort of party they can have. After all, I do party themes that make others uncomfortable, too.

      Thanks for speaking up, Domina. I'm also uncomfortable with this theme. Eric's disclaimer is fine--and necessary--but my concern is that the violently abusive nature of this sort of relationship (pimps and prostitutes) gets trivialized here. I'm all for playing with taboos, but let's not forget what the reality is here.

      This is my issue and I won't press it further, but I feel relieved to be able to voice it. Thanks for providing that entree, Domina.

        First I want to say that this will be a "lighter than the typical" play party. It's shaping up to be a very "sexy fun" event. Of course there will be room for the BDSM play that The Citadel is known for but the musical ambience might not be in line with that for most. At least for the first couple of hours or so.

        Second I don't see any difference with this theme and any others that have the same kind of "attachment" with violence that this one has. Pirates come to mind. Mind you I'm not trying to negate your or anyone elses feelings, Domina and Earline. I respect that it does make you both uncomfortable. It may make others feel the same way. If this party is not for you, you will be missed :O(

        Third I think Master Eric's disclaimer says it all.

        Fourth it is also Master Erics B-Day celebration. Please wish him a happy one.

    Oh my gosh and the music was so great. No really, I don't know why I'm amazed at the selections Mr. Mystic makes cause it's always the best.
    And Bo9b was totally hot and I was so jealous cause he looked so much hotter than me!
    Pimp Daddy needed that wire comb though! :-P
    I got to dance and that's been sooooo very long and I really had a very nice time even if I didn't get played with. I certainly enjoyed the people there and Dr. Phil Good always looks so cute in his coat!
