New gaymer in (EU) CoH!

I actually have an old account that I signed up for 3 months with, but never got round to playing, so upon reactivation I have my 'trustworthy' title. Whoo!

So started playing again and spent the whole day messing with different body types and powers before settling for a sexy lean dark armour guy. I am going to make my guy and get him on one of the (EU-english) servers that has a gay group on. Like cohpride on union if that is one. If not i would love to know of a gay goup on Union or Defiant that I could join.

I'm new to CoH but I have Guild Wars, Tabula Rasa and LOTRO accounts so not new to MMO's just CoH.

Hello all. New to Tribe and happy to find a group for fellow gay CoX players. My global is Onyx Weaver and he's one of 50-60 alts i play. 32 dark/dark def. on Virtue. Not in SG.

these days, i play mostly on virtue, in some str8 guy's sg, or in his sg on Champion. but always looking for (kinky?) (bear?) players and toons. And if you and/or your toon is a cigar smoker, we'll get along fine.

But.. i do have a problem. My computer needs repair right now. My "e" key has popped off the keyboard. and so... no CoX since sunday. I am going through withdrawal. HELP!

Hey there.

I recently rejoined CoH/CoV after getting tired of Warcrack. I really missed getting to watch my hunky heroes save the day! Does anyone know of established gay hero groups on Infinity server or villain groups on Victory? I also don't mind if this discussion becomes a general thread for sharing gay groups on any and all servers. :)

My partner and I used to lead a hero group called "Friends of Dorothy" about 3 years ago on Victory with our heroes, Elphaba West and Galinda North. If this sounds familiar to you, you should definitely give me a shout. We'd love to reconnect with all the guys and gals we used to play with. We don't mind starting the group again, but it seems silly to do so if there is already a group out there we could join.

Hope to hear something from someone soon!

It's been awhile since I've been on Tribe (since I spend all my time playing CoH), so I thought I'd give a shout out.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I am a recovering alt-addict. After creating 50+ heroes & villains, I realized how long it would take me to hit 50 if I continued that track, so I decided I could only play those heroes that had reached 14 (then I slipped two of my favorite pre-14 scrappers in). Here is my current roster:

Wave the Water Faerie - Victory
Level 15 Magic Defender, Dark Empath, Flight

Faux 3.0 - Victory
Level 16 Technology Tanker, Invulnerability/Strength, Super Jump

Green Tiger - Guardian
Level 14 Natural Scrapper, Spines/Regen, Super Jump

Red Tiger - Guardian
Level 12 Natural Scrapper, Martial/Reflexes (will be Super Speed)

Blue Tiger - Guardian
Level 10 Natural Scrapper, Dark/Reflexes, Stealth

I just started playing CoV as well, and my highest is only Level 11. Right now I'm focusing on my heroes, but I'm sure I'll turn back to the darkside eventually. Anyone else want to shout out?

Hi guys Indigo again. Our two teams of Exodus and The Agenda were doing so well that they are bordering on too well. I was forced to open the third team early. Our new VG is named "The Menagerie". The Menagerie is made of of beasts, monsters, animals and creatures of all shapes and sizes. This team like our 2 previous teams is open to all of our members who have transfered many of their more hideous and ghastly creations there in order to make room for YOU, our newest members, in our other two teams.

Poor mastermind

Poor shallow grave ha hit a stint of bad luck my past 4 missions have managed to put me in debt from 70k they keep giving me mobs with my bosses i am only set to malisious and yet i am getting elite bosses in my last mission i was fighting wretch and he was able to kill all my pets with ONE hit and then me with just one punch it did 802.9 hitpoints and shallow-grave only has 664.9 hitpoints i found it quite disturning that even after i went and reset the mission on the lowest difficulty setting he was stilla n elite boss and still dishing out the same amount of damage i had to bring in a team of 4 brutes to bring him down while i set there an just kept healing..... they deffinitly need to either need to give us a evade power because shadows fall is crappy and force field does nothing in my experience or give us a little more hp. i mean i heave health and shadowns fall and i tough and i still cant take a hit to save my life and i mean the literly lol

I played CoV last night and advanced to threat level 30, which means I got to pick an “Aura Effect” for my villain’s costume. I picked glowing flaming eyes…it actually looks pretty cool. I never ceased to be amazed by the variety and versatility of the game. I mean there are literally endless combinations of costumes and powers; it’s cool to look at and even more fun to play. No wonder people get addicted.

Doctor Skull earns his cape

Last night was a milestone for my toon on "Virture". The nefarious Doctory Skull has earned his cape. I even changed his look a little at the facemakers/tailors to make him even more eeeeeevilllll. It's kind of interesting that none of my CoH toons have earned a cape, but my favorite villian has.

Big hint: When you reach level 20 make sure to call Kalinda!!! It's super important. Remember she told you to call.

I'm new to CoH and, well.. I just don't get it.

I've been playing lots of MMORPG in my life (All fantasy, EverQuest, then Final Fantasy 11, and now World of Warcraft)

What server should I get on that has a gay guild? Do they have "guilds" on City of Heros?

I always play a healer of some sort.. sould I go for the Defender then?

I don't know about you all,but I was pretty frustrated with the COH/COV update this weekend.

Seemed like the servers were really overwhelmed - each morning they were offline for hours it seemed, and the game play on Sat/Sun mornings was so laggy that it really made game play difficult.

The Siren's Call zone was intriguing, but after helping kill countless villians, for what seemed like way too low points, I got bored and went back to hunting in IP/Bricktown where I could actually make some progress with my character. I tried my Tank, my def and controllers, and still was only getting like 5 points per kill, no matter how involved my characters were - not to mention the debt.

Plus, the sensitivity of the auto-heroes in Siren's Call is too low. Half the time the villians are kicking ass right next to them and they don't even notice. I had to start using my tank to herd villians directly into the mobs of Auto-Heroes to ensure they would engage, which seemed like a big waste of time.

I do like how the map auto locates the hotspots for you. Not so sure I like the new iconography in the maps, tho - makes the entrances to zones harder to differentiate, now they're just another glowing circle amongst many glowing circles on your map.

The villian's look pretty incredible - it was fun deciving the big blaster bots and watching them destroy each other. But it got old after a while - no points.

Plus, after all is said and done - what I was REALLY looking forward to, this year and each subsequent year, was the Halloween edition that they did last year where every door was a potential trick or treat and the super-tall bad Jack Pumpkinhead villians were roaming through the zones. Great points, cool graphics, etc.

If Siren's Call would just yield better points, it would be worth it. But it doesn't - so it isn't.
