The Long Awaited and Anticipated Work Less Masquerade Party! It's happening folks but only with your oh so essential participation. Hopefully this will be a start to more Work Less Party events in Victoria so all you folksies can get your Work Less desires full filled here as well. This will also be a great opportunity for everyone in Victoria to find out more about the Work Less Party itself. However most importantly we hope to bring the various communities within Victoria under one common roof and beneath the great umbrella of one common hope, namely the improvement of our own lives within the framework of healthy community and environment.

Calling all performers!

I'm looking for performers of all shapes, sizes and talents for a new monthly show in Victoria. Inspired by In the House in Vancouver, this show will take place (hopefully) monthly at a different venues (houses) every time. All types of performances from vantriliquism to dance to spoken word or burlesque are welcome to get incontact for either a meeting or to send footage of your shtuff. For the first show, I am not sure I'll be able to pay the performers, and am looking for anyone with a big heart who would like to see this outlet for the arts to succeed, and hopeful there'll be more to work with later! This weekend training will be introducing the basic tools and techniques of Kundalini Dance. The focus of this training is for participants to have a good working understanding of the chakra system and its connection to the physical and emotional body, thru direct experience. This is experiential learning where the participant embodies the concepts being taught, through diving into their own self-healing transformational journey.

* Discover the links between emotional states underlying tension and dis-ease.
* Clear old stagnant emotional energy held in the cells, the organs and the chakras.

the decorators
the organizers
the deeJays
the servers
the volunteers
the people whom gave us grass!!
the event center for letting us party all night

the next level was vast including dynamic interactions for many

i think y'all are fantastic

In my personal blog I have opened a can called *too sexy *
for i had an interaction that was less than desirable
it was dealt with really well
i felt very supported

however i was wondering what we could do more?
and still stay open and shine light
a shanti crew of our own (well labeled sober sages)?

The Next Level Photography

Howdy Y'All,

I will be taking photos of the event and portraits of anyone interested. I will be setup in the portrait booth from 12-2 and roaming throughout the night. If you want your picture taken, please just ask. After the event I will burn all of the photos I shot to a CD and they will be available by contacting me either through tribe or my gmail address listed on my card, which is posted.

The CD will have about 200 high resolution digital pics for your viewing pleasure that can be easily printed in large formats.

better music

hey y'all
i personally found the music at earthbound to be a little questionable.

the music didn't seem to have a sense of flow, building or anticipation...
it'd build, then drop, then build, then drop
it didn't really do anything to raise the energy

kinda like a sieve, but what we needed was a bowl
any chance this might change?

the music is the most important part of such an event!

a note from the road as i wonder + wander my way thru the mountains + back to our island. currently i am in nelson sending you all love.

i would like to extend official invitation to the rebirth collective to have a collaborative impact on the shaping of earthdance, slated to link victoria up to hundreds of countrys worldwide @ 4pm (pst), saturday 16 september 2006. we are in the very preliminary stages of planning @ the moment, constructing a council that will manifest a wonderful dance.

in the interests of unification + collaboration, we would love to have a member of the rebirth collective share seat w/ us on the dreamdance council, + we'll be extending invitation also to have a member of the rainbow cathedral represent @ our meetings, + in cyberspacial forum.

This is the much expected and entitled thank you to everyone who made last night so sparkly and wonderful. As if shaking our spacy booties was not enough, we got to do it surrounded by fabulousness and lots of aliens.

So, that said, let's see those pictures people! Post em. Link em. I personally feel the posting of pictures would the most opportune fashion of recovering from last night: a calm remeniscing experience while resting at the computer in that comfortable trance-like state staring into the blue glow generally puts one in. a meditation of sorts...... well, i'll leave you too it. and i look forward to seeing all the hoopla once again.
