Call to Artists and Curators

Saturday March 11th Collision Machine presents:
CONVERGENCE
convergence (k n-vûr j ns)
n.
1. The process of coming together or the state of having come together toward a common point.
2. The coordinated turning of the eyes inward to focus on an object at close range.
3. The adaptive evolution of superficially similar structures, such as the wings of birds and insects, in unrelated species subjected to similar environments. Also called convergent evolution.

Collision Machine is seeking artists, musicians and curators interested in contributing work dealing with the theme of convergence for our upcoming art salon. We are accepting submissions in all media including photography, painting, sculpture, video and really anything else you can make art with. We are also seeking curators interested in creating a complete show based on the theme of convergence.

Collision Machine is an art salon event put on by the folks at D&S Knitwear. D&S Knitwear is six people living in a 3500 sq. ft. space in Bushwick which the New York times tells us is the next latest and greatest. And you know what that means... rent's goin' up.
