Winter is upon us, and before the weather becomes too painful, we’re firing up the Collision Machine for this season’s final evening of spectacular art, film, performance and music. As always, this is a free event, so bring your friends, neighbors and your art lovin’ granny.
<br/>
<br/>The evening begins inside the 3500 sq ft D&S Knitwear loft with painting, video, drawing and installation by:

<br/>Our spectacular evening will wrap with a brilliant collection of bands and guest DJ’s rockin’ out for dancing till you drop. -Featuring a special guest performance by Nao Superfortress.-

<br/>There will also be a $10 open bar for those who choose to imbibe, including our special blend of ‘Hello Winter’ hot mulled wine, and a delicately chilled house beer. Of course, those who find little or no satisfaction in the house beverage offerings are welcome to bring their own libation of choice. That is, if you don't like our bar, bring your drink your own damn self.

<br/>CONVERGENCE
<br/>convergence (k n-vûr j ns)
<br/>n.
<br/>1. The process of coming together or the state of having come together toward a common point.
<br/>2. The coordinated turning of the eyes inward to focus on an object at close range.
<br/>3. The adaptive evolution of superficially similar structures, such as the wings of birds and insects, in unrelated species subjected to similar environments. Also called convergent evolution.
<br/>
<br/>Collision Machine is seeking artists, musicians and curators interested in contributing work dealing with the theme of convergence for our upcoming art salon. We are accepting submissions in all media including photography, painting, sculpture, video and really anything else you can make art with. We are also seeking curators interested in creating a complete show based on the theme of convergence.
<br/>
