I have been muling this Idea over for a long time but have really only now began to put it in perspective of an achievable goal.
I have been label'in my music and my music studio with the name" Doorway Recordings "for a few years now, and would probably keep it this way unless I happen to take on some partners on this project.

If I was to get it all going it would be slow going at first I think but could help us all in a big way.
I would give out a few Free V.A. albums 1st to get the name recognized and to give a taste of the styles and artists that were involved.
If this was to happen would you( the artists ) "give" a few tracks to be put on these albums and get really only propper promotion and getting your names on an album at 1st untill we start selling CDs.At that point is were I / we the label would start to pay the artists ( you ) for your music.

What do you guys think about this?
Like I said it is just a thought at this point.
