Commune the movie

In 1968, a group of artists and activists leave San Francisco and move to the woods to create a new world and erase their straight laced 1950's upbringing. But there would-be free love utopia is beset by jealousy, FBI harassment, and a cult that take them to another, dangerous level. With never seen "Portapak" video from then, to their perceptive children now, “Commune” is the first real insider look at group living, and how seemingly small, personal choices can help create deep changes in the world. Featuring the Black Bear Ranch Commune, including actor Peter Coyote, herbalist Michael Tierra ("The Way of Herbs"), and Chinese medicine guru Harriet Beinfield ("Between Heaven & Earth").
