that reads more like science fiction than anything... it seems the largest misconception is the idea of global warming, it is more accurately portrayed as global climate change, so it snows more one year and Madison, WI doesn't become beach front property so people start complaining that we're entering an ice age. Meanwhile Greenland and Antartica are (factually speaking, not conjecture) shedding ice at an alarming rate and channels are opening in the Arctic circle... don't ignore the polar bears loss of habitat either, but I'm sure they won't mind to much once they're enlightened by these pro-ice age articles. And before you believe too much hype it pays to be aware of the fact that there is an extremely broad consensus in the scientific community that humanity is having a larger observable effect on our terrestrial weather than the sun is. It's been popular and politically expedient for the government to downplay this "controversy," but like the Intelligent Design debate, we're learning quickly that there isn't much debate among scientists, just among policy makers and their corporate overlords.
