A Message from CounterPULSE
Thu, December 6, 2007 - 9:48 AMI like the Tuesday jam, don't y'all?

Hi Friends,
This email is for the many wonderful people in our community who attend the
CounterPULSE Tuesday Night Jam. We need to let you know that we've recently
reached a point, on the financial side of things, where the existence of
this jam is in jeopardy, and we need your help.
Not only is this the longest running jam in the city, and one of the most
affordable, but for so many of us, it's also a necessary hub of community.
This jam gives us a place for connection through dance, for physical
fitness, for personal expression and exploration, and even for therapy. Lots
of us need this jam, so please help us to keep it up and running.
As of late, not enough people are giving the suggested donation for
admission to the jam, and if this doesn't change, then we will have to raise
the price. We don't want to do that, so please keep it affordable for
everyone by pitching in your donation.
Be assured that your donation money is only used for the essentials. It
keeps the rent paid, the lights running, and toilet paper in the bathrooms.
So, please consider what this jam is worth to you, and keep it alive and
well by donating as much of the suggested amount as you can. We think $5 is
a great deal, but it only works if everyone pays it. We really want to keep
the jam open and the honor system working. To do that, we need your help.
Thanks,
Jessica, Abby, Loren, Tera, Jesse & the CounterPULSE team -

Wed, December 12, 2007 - 8:40 AMIn case you have gone to the jam a bunch of times and let the donation slip, you can do some sort of token "catch up donation" by going to
www.counterpulse.org/donate.shtml
K
PS put in a little note that it is for the jam, so they know where the revenue is coming from.
