Do you want to attend the West Coast Contact Improvisation Festival 2007?

Do you have excellent writing and verbal skills, experience dealing with press and public relations, and an affinity for Contact Improv or other dance forms?

We are looking for an enthusiastic work-exchange volunteer to help us promote this year’s Festival. Responsibilities include writing press releases, managing print and online calendar listings, and working with two co-organizers of the festival on any other press/publicity-related tasks as they arise.

This position—affectionately titled Press/PR WEXer—entails not over 35 hours of work to be spread between February, March, April, and July of 2007, in relationship to events and deadlines for the festival. The work can be done largely from home; the teachers and committee members are a fun, dedicated, and supportive group, and we largely communicate via email.
