  well, there is sometimes a class at UC Davis in Contact Improvisation. However, if you go north instead of east, there is a class leading into a jam every wednesday night in Grass Valley at the Moving Ground Studio in the St Joseph's Cultural Center, 410 S Church St.
  
  begins at 7:30... sometimes it's a class, sometimes a jam, sometimes a class leading into a jam... depends on who is leading and who shows up. Usually there are 9 to 12 people there.
