What:
The Biggest Little Decompression in the World

When:
October 18th - High Noon until everyone is sick of it

Where:
The Mangrove – Corner of Sierra St. and Island Ave., Right next to the River – Noon ‘til Sundown
Club Underground – 555 E. 4th St. – Lounge opens at 7PM, Front Room at 8PM
Bliss Nightclub – 535 E. 4th St. – Opens at 9PM
Alley – Behind Bliss and Underground – Opens at 7PM

Why:
We are doing this to raise money for the Reno Burners LLC, to support the local Burning Man Community and most importantly, to have fun with everyone in our community!

Who:
We have many acts lined up for your entertainment pleasure, and the list just keeps on growing. Here are some of the entertainment options:

Door prices are as follows:
$10 with playa costume AND a canned food item to donate
$15 with playa costume OR a canned food item to donate
$20 with plain clothes and no donation

Even if you purchased a presale ticket, please try and bring some canned food items to donate to our food drive.

Please don’t use the online option unless you absolutely cannot make it to one of the other presale locations. Since we do not get the money from online sales until after the event, we won’t have that money to make your Decompression Event even better.

Please note: Club Underground and Bliss Nightclub require you to be 21 years of age or older. These are also the only venues you will need a ticket for entry. The Mangrove and the Alley are free access for anyone of any age.

10% of all proceeds will go to the Black Rock Arts Foundation


Rooms:
**You can stay at the Atlantis for a Group rate**
The Atlantis has offered us a group room rate to for the evening of Decompression!
Rates in the Motor lodge will be $79.00, for double/ double or king bed. Rooms are available in smoking or non-smoking. All rooms have outdoor access. Alix will try to have our initial 25 room block located at the back portion of the motor lodge, to insure more privacy. She will add rooms to the block as reservations deem necessary.

To insure the $79.00 rate, guests should call the Atlantis by Saturday, October 11, 2008. Mention the Decompression rate when speaking to the reservations agent.

    Saturday October 18, 2008
    High Noon to Sunset
    Corner Sierra St. and Island Ave., Reno, NV

    This FREE participatory event is for ALL to enjoy! We hope you will
    add to the fun and join us for a day of picnicking, face painting,
    recycled arts and crafts, glow stick mayhem and interactive
    workshops, all with the undertones of World Groove music.

    Start the day at 12 noon shaking to the Hokey Pokey! Then join
    together with Kitty Gordon, sculptor of the Bottle Cap Tree, and
    learn to craft bottle cap flowers. She also has a project for bottle
    caps on bicycle spokes! We have some bottle caps. Bring what you
    have with some pliers, and of course your bike! What, no bike? only
    parts in a box? Then don't miss the bike part arts project with
    Kiwanis Bike Program.

    But it doesn't stop there! Participate in the drummin' circle or get
    your body moving with hula & poi workshops. Or just sit back, relax
    and watch Bernie the Puppeteer!
