I especially try to remind people about the organics, and the fact that there is more concern about fuel and the environment than in the past. Granted that it's a bit late for these things, but the fact remains that we are not alone in these movements, that they are growing on wide levels and these are the signs of the greater response to the closed mentality. This response is one coming up grassroots style, and it isn't seen as easily as a crazed politician/evangelist/media blobbo #18234127 on TV/radio/etc....these things are creeping up from random places, and the more we support and spread the word the better. These things getting into the mainstream means they have had a long road and are doing damn well.
