Has anyone had this cheese yet? It's a specialty cheese made from carmelized goat milk. I can't decide if I like it or not! I just bought another cube of it and I'm curious to see if anyone has any good pairings with it. I checked the cheese tribe. Not much there.
Anyone here know what I speak of?

Re: gjetost cheese
Sat, July 14, 2007 - 5:09 PMNow you're talking my heritage! Gjetost is mostly eaten by being sliced super-thin or smeared onto hot buttered toast. That's how we always ate it, at least. Best if the toast is something rich and grainy, too. *drool* I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. -

Re: gjetost cheese
Mon, July 16, 2007 - 10:22 AMThat's what I'm looking for, Paige! I was eating it straight, and I can't decide if it's good or weird. But methinks having it sliced on hot buttered toast is JUST the thing to make me love it.
*she says as she's strapping on her Captain Whiz costume for the wrastlin'*
