Plantains

I've been craving them. So I bought two yesterday and am going to cook em later.

Whats your FAVE way to make em? I wanna try something new.

    *sigh* I've never had one. I grew up in Texas...and things that aren't "normal" or "southern baptist" are ruled deviant and illegal. I escaped Texas though, and am always looking to broaden my horizons.

      WHAT???? OMG I think my head exploded (yep, back to the exploding again). Plaintains are phenomenal. You NEEED to get some. and fry em. and eat in all their sweet goodness.

      or slice em into 1 inch circles, bash it with a hammer, fry it till it starts to cook, then bash it again so the sides explode and it looks like a flower, then fry it again, lay on a paper towl and salt it. yummy.
