6 grams dried psilocybin, mix of three strains, mostly nasty aborts that I had saved over time - wanted to see what these stunted rejects had to say. This was a nasty looking little pile, I must say. I don't know much about Mayan philosophy does anyone find this imagery corresponds to any definitive Mayan constructs?
I saw "Mayan" (don't ask me how I identified them as Mayan?) masks. The masks were human skulls and inside each mask seemed to be a human staring out - if I tried to look closer they were just empty masks but there was a creepy sense that there were eyes within the masks. Blood was smeared identically upon each mask. It appeared as if a human hand, palm and fingers, had smeared each mask with blood in the same places. The largest smear was horizontal across the forehead and another smaller smear was horizontal across the chin. Two vertical smears ran one down each cheek. Even though each was smeared in the same place, each was individual, being just a little different because they were all done by hand. There were thousands or tens of thousands of these masks and they began to form double helixes clearly mimicking DNA strands. They formed two strands each with its set of two mirrored strands and they all began to spin counter clockwise moving upward something like a barber pole. At the time this was a healing trip and I forced myself to break away from these images thinking that they would lead me astray from my purpose on this trip - may have been real wrong about that? While I don't know much about Mayan culture or religion, DNA is a big personal theme for me and I thought that "the mushrooms" were trying to seduce me away from what I was trying to accomplish on this trip, which was not about me by "teasing" me with these revolving DNA strands. Time seemed to be a big theme on this trip - any ideas anyone?
