Hello Costume goddesses!
Our troupe is doing a saucy dance for a Halloween Hafla wearing corset type tops. I've been prowling the shops looking for something, but as a busty size 20 not much is out there. Any ideas?

Re: Corset type top
Thu, October 1, 2009 - 7:49 AMI assume you mean these: www.tribalbazaar.com/brocade...ps2.html ? Tribal Bazaar's XXL is a 42-inch, when tightly laced. And since you DON'T want to rely on these for support anyway (they're not built for that), you could wear something under it & let the laces out on all sides a little. Or add a panel under the arms in a similar/coordinating fabric. -

Thu, October 1, 2009 - 10:02 PMActually, they mean Can-Can type corset and bloomer costumes. They have to be somewhat stretchy because we have to move. I guess I'll scour the costume stores again. -

Fri, October 2, 2009 - 5:55 AMFor "faux" corset tops (ie, the non-boned, stretchy kind) in plus sizes, I'd look at:
Fredericks of Hollywood
For Play
Hips & Curves
Trashy Lingerie
They all have websites - just Google 'em! :) -
