I got a gallon ziplock full of 4 inch fabric squares - 4 stacks of about 50 pieces each, in color families - mostly purples and yellows,prints and solids. Apparently the woman was going to do a small piece quilt, but never did. They are typical quilt weight cotton. Maybe use them for a patchwork bag?
