Juniper Tree is no longer the only place to buy soapmaking supplies in the bay area.
Hydra, located at 1716 4th St in Berkeley (in that upscale shopping district at 4th and University) is now selling soap bases, dried herbs, and all kinds of oils and fragrances. Hydra has a better selection of soap bases for melt & pour. Check it out.

Thu, March 8, 2007 - 6:44 PMI think their prices are about the same. Juniper Tree has soap molds and Hydra does not. But I like the fragrance oils that Hydra carries.
